ONEXGPU Graphic Card Dock Expansion Card eGPU with Radeon RX 7600M XT RDNA3.0 8GB GDDR6 RDNA3.0 6nm 8GB GDDR6

I would not recommend US buyers to purchase this Onexgpu. It comes, at least mine did, with a Type I Plug which is mainly used in Australia, New Zealand, China and Argentina. In contacting Onexgpu customer service, they referred me to their Amazon representative, but they do not reply to emails, at least not for me, and it has been over 3 weeks now and not even Onexgpu customer service replies to my emails now and they do not sell US plugs on their web site.

Works fine with Linux for better performance than the integrated GPU. I haven't used the nvme expansion, but it seems interesting. Onboard Ethernet and extra USBs are nice, but to me, the device is noisy when GPU is in use.The device powers my machine via thunderbolt (gen 1 framework core i7 mobo), but sadly there is no way to remotely turn it on. So using it as a remote GPU linux workstation is out.Look elsewhere if you were thinking of using this for AI tasks like txt-to-img (ie Stable Diffusion) in Linux. I haven't tried in Windows but doubt it will work there either due to AMD support. YMMV with something like ZLUDA, but support is limited. AMD has seriously dropped the ball with ROCm supporting consumer GPUs, and this is one such card. I've wasted countless hours trying to get it to work and I definitely regret this purchase since Linux AI was one of my main use cases.If your goal is gaming, sure, it might be an improvement over an older integrated GPU. Do your research if you are looking beyond that scope.Plus one star for onboard ports, plus one star for graphics improvement over integrated GPU.Minus one star for lack of remote on, minus one star for AI support, and minus one star for noise.For the price, I'd go with an eGPU chasis, like a Razer Core, and add my own GPU for future expansion capabilities instead of being locked into a specific chipset. Lesson learned.

Liked it but wanted a bit more power and did not need portability

I have an AOOSTAR mini pc with an oculink port, plugged right in and it was immediately recognized and utilized. Everyone who seems to be having issues is using TB4 instead of the oculink. That said, the performance is incredibly good for a 2k monitor, starfield plays great with high gfx, elite dangerous on max. No issues with stuttering or crashes, it just works.

I should have listened to the other reviews. This product will crash your PC constantly. When it works it does nice boosting GPU performance. The battle with USB peripherals crashing wasn't worth the hassle. I even fully reinstalled my OS thinking the problem was my PC. The same issues persisted after that.

Recieved the box without any seal or wrapping for the unit. Obviously used by the looks alone. No manual in box. Box has been badly abused.

I'm usually relatively tech-savvy, I've done a lot of laptop ram and ssd changes for example, but I struggled mightily to get this to work with 3 different laptops, and one of them it crashed so bad that I ended up having to reset it.If you are expecting this to work with plug and play, expect to spend a LOT of time downloading and tweaking drivers and fiddling. If you're comfortable with that and using eGPU's you may be fine, but I was disappointed with the user-unfriendliness (and especially poor documentation-especially for pairing with laptop use).
