Liz Rideal500 Self-Portraits

This is a gorgeous book. I actually saw it in a library in another country and come home and bought it for someone. I plan to get another copy for me!

Exactly what it says on the tin, together with a learned twenty page prefaced introduction ,the simple mirror (these days the selfie)being the uncredited silent participants ,as essential as the brush or pen to this ultimate massage of the ego of we famous &unknown & obsessed portraiturists.

Book may feel small but the hardbound and depth of history contained with each and every page is humbling. Great print quality and sharp crisp images. The page spread is also interesting like the two artists are looking at us and considering each other :)
