Best EDC for Gardeners
This is one of those tools that once you get your hands on it, you use it around your garden, and you wonder how I've been gardening for so long without owning it before. Super effective in digging up weeds. Sturdy enough to pry stones off your soil. I also found it to be a really good tool to score and rough up around the perimeter of your planting hole. I also used it to loosen up the roots of the potted plants before planting them in the ground.

adhesive came off well
I'm mainly writing this to address the concerns about the adhesive from the label. The labels came off easily for me and left no residue. Perhaps the manufacturer noted the issue and corrected it.So far it is a fun, novel tool. I bought it mainly out of curiosity, but expect to use it often.

Favorite Garden Tool - Tough, Sleek, Clever Design
I was skeptical of the concept at first, but no more. This is my single favorite garden tool, hands down. With it I can dig, slice, saw, measure, and defend myself from rabid bigfeet. It has held up to years of use and abuse with no signs of slowing down. Don't cheap out on another brand and waste your money. These are the real deal.

Great Quality and most effective tool.....
The best utility knife in the bag.....just used it to assist in the replacement of a sprinkler head. \While the irrigation spade was not very useful in cutting out the grass around the old sprinkler head, this hori hori knife cut the grass "like butter". additionally, the knife was a great help in loosening hte hard packed dirt surrounding hte sprinkler head.......a great addition to any gardener's tool bag....

Make weeding easier.
I love my weeding knife. It goes through dirt to cut and dig out the roots of weeds like it was butter. It is easy to handle (I have bad arthritis). It can easily reach into crevices. I just bought another one to give to my son. Be careful - it is very sharp.

Best multipurpose gardening tool
I should have bought one of these tools long ago. It’s very sharp, looks and feels durable, and really helps with weeding, precise edging, slicing through challenging root balls, etc. The only thing that would help me would be a padded handle because of arthritis in my hands. The carrying case that comes with the tool is flimsy. I would much prefer a leather case for something this sharp. My rating is for the tool itself which has been perfect.

The only garden tool you need
After researching and seeing the HoriHori knife in many best garden tool list articles and videos, I decided to buy one and OMG! this should’ve been my first garden tool purchase. I’ve used this to do some planting in pots, clean up some weeds in the front flower bed and do some plant transplanting in the yard and not once I needed my hand shovels! This was sharp enough to cut and made digging a breeze. Highly recommend and make this be your first garden tool purchase.
