Takes the Edge Off
I live in FL and this fan is a lifesaver. It works perfectly in the back seat for my 2 kids. It’s a great price for the air flow it provides.

So useful!
Bought this to deliver the cool air to the rear seats faster. The kids loved it!

Has to be plugged in to work
This only works if it is plugged in… so it doesn’t work for the purpose I wanted and that was for the car

Short range of airflow

Dealswin Car Fan for Backseat kids, Dual Head USB Car Seat Fan, 360° Rotatable Strong Wind Car Rear Headrest Fan for Baby, Air Circulation Fan with Adjustable Clip for Vehicles SUV RVB0CWN7BWLHI purchased this for my Moms old SUV while she's driving. The AC isn't working well anymore and she refuses to get it recharged, because she's gonna sell the car one day… that was 4 years ago. Summer is here in the SJ Valley, and once again we will be seeing dozens of 100+ degree days. The weather predictions are for temps in the 112 range for the next few days. Happy 4th of July!I didn't check the measurements of the actual fans themselves before I purchased this, if I had done that first I wouldn't have bought it. A major blunder on my part, I am usually more meticulous about such things. Foolish me, I went by the photoshopped images, and it looked to me as if they were about 25% larger than they are in reality. {A common seller's practice that needs to stop.} The actual blades measure about 3.25 inches in diameter, not very large. It's about the size of those cheapy handheld mister fans you can buy for about $5 - $10 here. The clamp is a bit tricky to attach, but not something you need instructions for, which it didn't come with either. It is also a bit difficult to maneuver into position, and it tends to move out of position a bit on its own, something that will most likely get worse over time.Truly for it to work well the headrest needs to be all the way up so the fans can have greater range of motion and the air intake is not blocked. This fan is really meant to be for the airflow directed towards the back seat passengers, and for that it might be OK. It moves a decent amount of air, but the blades are only 3+ inches so it has to be directly on someone's face. I've attached a video, and as you can see by my very scientific - up and down - paper towel experiment, it has a VERY limited area with which it can cover. It is fairly quiet, which may or may not be a good thing for you. It depends entirely on how noisy your lil' back seat passengers tend to be, and you might want something louder to drown out the noise. /sI also didn't realize that this unit is not rechargeable, there is no battery so it must run off of the car. So in her car, nothing can run off of the lighter unless the engine is running or the ignition is in the ACC position. Most vehicles now have some type of USB ports, but I'm not sure if the power to them shuts off when the car is off. If not, then if you forget to turn this off you might possibly come back to a dead battery. But I used this on one of my portable power banks and it didn't seem to have very much of a drain which is good.I can't recommend or not recommend either. I purchased this to be used in a way not concurrent with its design. But I am really off put by the image with the small child in the back seat that made this look larger than it really is. That's more deception than sales. And oh yeah. . . my Mom's opinion was that it worked OK, but it kept blowing her hair into her face and she had to keep brushing her hair back . . . and she also doesn't like her hair to get mussed either. Even at 85, she still has to feel she looks good when she goes out. More power to her.If you're going to use this for the driver, it is difficult for anyone who might be riding in the front passenger seat, the fan gets in the way.I will give it 3 stars to be fair. But I would not purchase this again for my particular needs. At the time of this writing, I think I got this for about $23 with the promo, but I really didn't think this was that good a value for the money. I'm thinking more along the lines of $17 or so.If this helped you to make an informed decision, send me an upvote so I'll know. These reviews can sometimes take a bit of time to produce.peace out
