Great value for your money!
i am a photographer with over 25 years of experience. The Meike 35mm F2.0 Full Frame AF is an interesting lens to work with - I was pleased by its overall performance. The lens attached quite easily to my camera body, and the included lens hood snapped into place easily. While not fully weather-sealed, it has a red rubber gasket to help prevent water and dust finding their way into your lens. It is a multicoated, which helps to reduce flare and unwanted reflections. This multi-layer coating is very useful when shooting against the light source, helping you create images that are sharp with good contrast. The lens has a USB port for firmware updates. There is a focus ring and a AF/MF switch, so you can disable the autofocus easily if you want. The focus ring is smooth and stays put for manual focus. The Meike 35 2.0 is a very light-weight lens (300g approx) that is easy to carry around all day with a nice wide-angle point-of-view applicable for many situations. At the 2.0 setting the lens nicely separates your subject from the background. There’s some vignetting at wide apertures. The lens creates a nice atmospheric look for landscapes, and is excellent for senior citizen portraits where you may not want to have every tiny pore and wrinkle in sharp relief. At higher aputure settings the lens became quite sharp. The autofocus system works very well and is certainly adequate for most situations. It certainly excels when used for street photography, being small, light-weight and discrete. Compared to a Sony 35 1.4 GM lens that costs $1400, the Meike 35mm f/2.0 AF offers excellent value for the money.

Meike 85mm f/1.8 SE II is an exceptional lens at a very decent price tag!
The 85mm f/1.8 SE II is truly an amazing lens. I paired it with my a7iv, and everything is perfect. Autofocus is fast and accurate even in lowlight, and images are very sharp. Really happy with this purchase, especially when it is not an expensive lens, compared to the native lens counterpart. Highly recommended!

Portrait Magic on a Budget
If you shoot APS-C and need a fantastic portrait lens, the Meike 55mm F1.4 AF is a winner. It's lightweight and compact with a surprisingly solid build. Optically, it's brilliant: creamy f/1.4 bokeh and great sharpness, especially in the center. The autofocus is quick and reliable for stills, handling eye detection well. For the price, this lens punches way above its weight. A must-have for beautiful portraits!

Great lens for the money. Very sharp.
Wonderful lens and very sharp. Great value for the price of this lens. It does not have VR/image stabilization, so if your camera body does not have one, then your pictures may come out a little soft. You will need to increase ISO and set your aperture very low to get the sharper image. Unfortunately, I had to return the lens due to this issue.

Quality for price.
Best Bang for your buck by far. Amazing sharpness and perfect aperture.

Shaaaarp and fast AF
Very good bang for your buck. AF is fast, it's super sharp. A pro with unlimited budget may need more, but a part timer like me is very happy with it.

Great budget lens that punches above its weight but it's still below the best
Above average lens for especially for the price. I would say it still hunts way more than it should. Really 3.5 stars, but there's no option for that.

Punches above its weight class
Great great value for the money. I use this alongside lenses that cost 10x more than it did. It's actually the cheapest lens I have that still works well with Sony autofocus, and maybe works better with the auto focus than Sigma Art lenses (my favorite lenses). The stepper motors are a bit noisier than other lenses, but not so loud that it actually matters. If you need a 55mm that gets stupid creamy backgrounds, look no further than this.

The plastic feel of the lens didn't give me any cause for concern and with some regular day to day use the lens should last some time. Handling wise is fine too, and the af/mf switch is ok and the manual focus ring does it's job too. Face tracking and autofocus in general is ok on my A7III. Sharpness is excellent wide open from f2, but the extreme edge of the frame does suffer until you stop down a bit. Colour Rendering is not bad and Contrast is good. Vignetting is fairly well controlled from wide open but flare is present wide open. Chromatic Aberration is very minimal though. F5.6 sees the best performance across the frame and diffraction sets in around f16. Bokeh is one of the highlights for me with the image quality of this lens. Zoom in on the specular highlights and you'll see they're not perfect but overall I like the out of focus look from this lens. The minimum focusing distance is a bit limiting but it performs fine at its closest. At this price, this is a very useable lens and a worthy budget buy.

The lens feels well balanced on my A7III and handles well. I like the feel of the knurling a lot and the placement and weight of the mf / af switch works well for me. Autofocus even on my A7III is good, snappy and accurate. Focus breathing is excellent and the manual focus ring is very useable too. Sharpness is excellent wide open in the centres and the edges clear up by around f2.8. Colour Rendering is pretty good and Contrast is very good, albeit a bit low at the edges. Chromatic Aberration is very minimal as is barrel distortion. Vignetting is almost non existent wide open. Ghosting and Flare is present but not enough to be an issue. Bokeh is very pleasing, a little imperfect but that gives it the good kind of character and overall this is one of my favourite standards lenses IQ wise in a while. This is a very decent competitor and I think this lens is excellent value.
