I love this!!! Finally can use my gel polish colors and have strength comparable to dip powder. This has solved my main issue with gel polish- it cracks so easily. So, I used the lavender color here, but in the future, I’ll use the clear builder and always keep that on my nails and then either do dips or use gel polish over the gel build. This is so super fast & easy. The included brush is the perfect shape for getting an exact application. Also love how easy it will be to do a fill with the gel builder as opposed to dip. Definitely give it a try. Super shiny finish without having to use top coat. You will love this, I’m sure of it!

I really like this product! Read the instructions and watch a couple of videos on YouTube. As anything you do for the first time there is a learning curve. Use thin coats. It levels beautifully and is very easy to file. It is thin and flexible. I am constantly in water and it adheres well. I do dehydrate, use primer, base coat and top coat. I get a lot of compliments.

The product is great if you do very little things with your hands. If you work a very hands on job I do not recommend this! I put this on last night and one already broke off in less than 14 hours. The forms are a little bit of a pain to work with as they are not very sticky. I also recommend a thick layer of gel, they say to use a thin layer but it breaks off when you take the form off. If you don’t do much work or an office job and on a budget this is great! But if you work in a hands on field I do not recommend.

When I first used this product it was challenging. Directions we not as clear. By me YouTubing use and playing around with it by my third use I’ve mastered it. Putting the gel in my willow wash acrylic /gel remover and warming the gel to a thinner consistency , I now love this product. It is strong and can build nail extensions nicely. I’ve used it to build extensions on broken nails and have used it as a base coat and added glitter for a nail color. Would recommend and buy again. In the picture attached I used the white gel as my nail color and added glitter to it.

This was my first time using the DIY gel builder. I had done lots of gel polish and one time I did the gel builder and loved it.The containers were much bigger than I thought so there was a lot of product.I didn’t really know what I was doing but YouTube helped me on that. The product is right inbetween think and thin. But I liked working with it.

I do a few friends nails and was excited to try this out on them.Usually I use poly gel but I had given hard gel a try and liked the self leveling but this stuff ruined me for it.The first friend I used it on had a terrible allergic reaction and she broke my me nail so low it broke her real nail off.The second friend who’s nails last 2 months sometimes, didn’t even make it 2 weeks before breaking half of her nails and as a result I had to cut down all of her long natural nails.I would start with thin layers and build it up and still this stuff would take like 5 minutes to cure. And the pink, which is one of the main reasons I got this product, would sometimes never cure at all ruining my plans for nails design. I wish I’d never bought or used this product. I’ve thrown it away now because it’s not worth hurting my friends skin or nails with.

I got it when it was $5.59. I tried getting nail products physically and they have bulk limits and treat everything like a trade secret. Am glad to be able to get this for my own use cuz I don’t have the time or money for a manicure or pedi at a salon. I love DIY anyhows so thanks. It’s definitely saved me time and money.

I’ve had this product for about a month I’ve been testing it out in different ways mixing them together using them at warmer temperatures using them at cooler temperatures using the sticky nail builder stencils building with fake nails here as what I have found outProsIt works better when the product is coolerThey send you a cute little brush it self storesYou get a good decent amount of product for the priceThe colors are very beautiful and vibrant at least the ones that do you have colorConsThe product takes forever under my UV light which is 140It is better for me to build with a fake nail because this product seems to stay more on the softer side even when built thick it’s a soft material so to speak even after cured for two minutes The brush is cute however you can only use the bottom half because it does not stay together it falls apart becomes an issue distraction falls in your productOverall it’s not a horrible product I have played with it it is not super professional stuff but it gets the job done and looks nice in a pinch I would use it again since then I’ve bought other products and found that I like certain hard gel or other gel brands better but I definitely went and threw this product away I think it would be good for someone practicing

This product is exactly as advertised. You can do your nails and not have to change polish as it looks great. I used it with nail forms so it was perfect from the start.

Builder gel......strength 5/5 Color selection 5/5 Beginer friendly 3/5. So overall 4/5.I'm quite experienced with artificial nail application and this was one of my first times using a thicker building Gel. Even with all the experience I've had it was not an easy process which would make me think that for somebody just trying this for the first time it's not going to go well.Be sure to cure them for the whole two minutes and after that they are quite strong and durable. I like the colours they were all very pretty I haven't tried them all but I'm sure they'll be great. And the kit does come with everything you'll need. I would've given at five out of five stars if it was easier to use. The product itself is fantastic when done right.

Loved how it builds and other products that come with it. It would fall off with the day though barely lasting 8hrs. I have a desk job so I wasn’t hard on them.

This is a terrific set. I am quite pleased with it.I'm a rookie at nail extensions and gels in general, but I'm learning. This set comes with a gel brush, a file and a package of nail forms, along with the six different pots of builder gels.The instructions aren't bad but for a rookie, there are steps or info missing that I had to consult my good friend, Mr. Google, about but that was easy to do and I even found some video tutorials online that helped. Still, I would have preferred that the instructions cover all the info that I needed to know. I am guessing that perhaps this kit is intended more for experienced nail technicians rather than rookies like me, in which case the instructions would have been adequate.I am giving this kit 4 stars out of 5 because of the instruction issue and because the three tinted pots of gel do not have the colours stated on the pots, but only numbers. The first three say "White", "Pink" and "Clear" but the other three say "UV04", "UV05" and "UV06". Again, it could be that experienced nail technicians would know what those numbers mean but someone like me has no idea until I open the pot to see what colours are inside. As it turns out, the first one I opened is a bright kind of hot pink, which I quite like. I haven't opened the other two yet but I'm guessing that they will be the other two colours shown in the ad; one sort of peach coloured and the other more of a rose tinted colour.I like all of the colours just fine, and the gels go on very smoothly and easily, especially when I followed the instructions about placing the pot in a bowl of warm water to begin. I found that this really gave the gel a nice consistency and made it very easy to work with.This is the first time that I have worked with these nail forms so I was a bit clumsy at first, but once I got the hang of it, everything went well. I managed to not make a mess of things and I was pleased with the results of my first practice round. I then removed everything to do a second practice round and I will try to update my review once I finish the next session. I didn't want to post photos of my first session because the errors were my fault and not the fault of the product!Overall, this is a nice set; I like it; it performs as advertised and I am getting a lot of practice doing gel nails. :-)

Her are her comments:First off, this is a product kit for someone who already has a strong LED lamp as well as some experience or knowledge on how to use builder gel. NB: This is NOT a polygel style product.I am a limitedly experienced DIY nail enthusiast (that is what I call myself if anyone asks) who really enjoys getting creative with my nails at home. My first choice of product is working with hard builder gel like this product. I have used a number of Morovan products over the years and have learned to trust the brand.Speaking of the brand, I have discovered over the years that some people, myself included, who are novice to nail enhancements tend to order based on the manufacturer's name. If they had one product by XYZ, then any product by XYZ will work even though is has a different name. Not true. And here is why: Morovan does offer a range acrylics, polygels, builder gels, gel polishes and dips so if you are ordering based on name alone, make sure you have the right product you are looking for.This product is a 'hard builder gel'. That means that it is a fairly liquidly gel that needs to be applied in thin layers on a properly prepared, dry, and dust free nail bed. Each thin layer needs to be cured separately under a UV/LED lamp and opaque product/colours will take longer to cure than clear products. When finished, there will be a sticky layer on the nail that feels like it is still wet. Use rubbing alcohol and a piece of cotton or paper towel to clean this off. After this, you will have a hard, gel finished nail enhancement. -- You can always check on YouTube if you want to see nail techs demonstrating how to use builder gels. That is how I got started.So, with that in mind, I LOVE this product. I mainly used it to strengthen and grow my own nails out but I did try it with some tip enhancements too. When the product was applied to well prepared natural nails, and I managed not to get anything too thick along the sidewalls or too close to a cuticle, I could get a full 3-weeks out of a set. Beautiful!My nails grew out faster than the product peeled, cracked, or lifted, so I needed to either fill or replace. I wanted to try all the colours so I did replace the builder a few times and I did do a couple of nails in a different colour of the gel. For fun, I also filled some nails with a contrasting colour gel too - this created a really neat look. Not only do I find the gel adheres well for the initial manicure, but it is easy to work with for fills as well.The clear options in this kit are great for imbedding sparkles, gems, stickers, etc., while the opaque colours will build a fully coloured nail in about 3 to 4 layers. Again, multiple, thin layers of builder gel is the way to use this medium. (Think: less is more.)On average, I cured each layer of the clear gels about 90-secounds with a final 2-minute cure, and the opaque colours were cured 2-minutes per layer with a final 3-minute cure. This was likely overkill but I know opaques take a lot longer and I like to be sure.I can recommend this product to those with some experience in using builder gels, and I base my recommendation on the on quality of this product, length of wear, ease of use, and the inclusion of the nail forms - that is a really nice touch!In the event that experiences change or evolve, updates may be made to this review to address such developments.
