Great little knife.
Really good little knife for the money. It's solid and functional. The blade is sharp and the action is smooth. The clip is great and has the right tension so easy in and out but secure.

I love this knife.
This knife was a surprise. I bought it after hearing many things about 704 Gear. The knife is small. Smaller in size than the Mini Praxis. But it is still a great knife. Sharp out the box, great Balance and ergonomics. It is very functional as a pocket knife. Value for money spent, is really hard to beat. Chews through boxes if you use it to cut cardboard, and with the pocket clip it is great for any pocket to carry.

Build quality, packaging, and size all exceeded my expectations!
Super fast shipping. Really impressed with the product. I was NOT expecting it to come as packaged. For a budget EDC knife, I compare this to my S&W Extreme Ops as it is comparably priced and comparable in size. For what it's worth, I consider a budget EDC knife something reliable enough to cut a seat belt even though it mostly only will cut open boxes and mail and something I wouldn't cringe over using as a pry tool in a pinch. Compared to my S&W, which came in a cheap cardboard box, as you would expect, its efficient deployment of the blade requires loosening the nut and, even then, still requires a tough thumb and a lot of practice.704 sends theirs in a zip case that is nicely lined and doubles as an EDC pouch for whatever you fancy. This was a nice extra bonus I was not expecting at this price point. Let's face it, guys, an EDC knife goes in your pocket, not in a case. This case is the perfect size to fit medication, bandages, loose tools for your firearms accessories, etc. The blade was soooo easy to deploy and super sharp. Kudos to 704 for coming out of the gate swinging with a great product!

Great EDC knife
Smooth action and great build quality. The texture on the G10 scales gives it a no slip feel. The carry clip has good retention as well. Blade centers and has no open play. The D2 blade came sharp out of the box. I would call this a mid size knife that doesn't overload your pocket. Overall, this is a fantastic knife for the price!

Sharp
Good looking and great feel on the handle but the spring for it to flip out seems pretty weak compared to a very similar looking blade I recently purchased as well this blade was the sharper of the 2 though. Came in a nice carry pouch.

Great compact knife
I recently reviewed the 704 Gear Urban Ranger, and I said I couldn't recommend it while the Civivi Mini-Praxis exists. That said, I still thought it was a pretty good knife, and I really like smaller knives on occasion, so I decided to pick up this knife. It's better than the Urban Ranger, I love it. It opens easier and locks open more consistently. It's sharper out of the box, and just feels good in the hand. If you're looking for a knife that's less than 2.5" in the blade, this should be on your short list!UpdateThis knife came sharp enough to cut paper, but not shaving sharp. I did a few passes on a ceramic rod and then on a leather strop, and it is now shaving sharp. It's super easy to sharpen and has held an edge well.
