pioneer cdiu205v ipod cable
i got the cable from amazon on time. i got the cable professionaly installed on my pioneer avh-p5100dvd in dash unit. does what its suppose to do. i got it coming from the unit through the glove box. plugs in and out of the ipod very easy. i'm getting great sound coming from my ipod through my pioneer. no complaints right now. no reason not to buy it if you need it.

WHY SO MANY CABLES? I DONT GET IT.
I DIDNT BUY THE CORRECT ONE. THERE ARE TOO MANY DIFFERENT MODELS FOR THE SAME THING AND THEN YOU HAVE TO CONNECT IT ON THE BACK OF THE STEREO THATS REALLY NOT PRATICAL AT ALL. I ORDERED IT FOR A FRIEND BUT I GUESS HE WASNT REALLY SURE WHICH MODEL IT WAS. ITS USED TO CONTROL THE IPOD FROM THE STEREO. IT SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO THE SAME THING JUST CONNECTING IT TO THE WHITE CABLE IT COMES WITH. LACK OF PROGRAMING.

no video!
It works well. however with my ipod touch it will not allow video playback on my Pioneer AVH-p500dvd head unit. otherwise it functions normally. You need to get a Pioneer remote though if your head unit has that option. otherwise findig and skipping songs are quite daunting.

Good product, only issue you have to unplug and plug your ipod when starting the car.
The cable does work with the radio, installation is easy even for non experienced people, the only problem I have with this is that I have to unplug and plug the iPod every time I start my car since the radio gives an ERROR 11 message when reading the iPod if I don't unplug/plug it.
