Have been using the new bulb for a couple months and it works 100% like it’s supposed to. Good brightness.

Disappointing. -- I was initially happy to find this bulb at a lower cost than the Sony-manufactured version. Unfortunately, I was shocked at how quickly it failed. I installed this replacement bulb in my Sony projector only six months ago. Over that time my projector has had limited use. Last night, in the middle of a movie, the bulb suddenly popped with a loud bursting noise. This product clearly does not meet the same quality standards as the original Sony bulb. My previous bulb lasted for years under regular use, but this one didn’t even make it past half a year.

It is so good to find a reasonably priced projector bulb for your classroom projector. This was a blessing for me because I rely so heavily on my projector when I teach. I've had bulbs go out before and needed to wait and wait for our tech to order a new one. Never again! I found this and decided to order it myself and bypass the tech and just as predected, by bulb started going out. It was darker than usual and the colors starting morphing. I put this in, it slid right in as it should, and I'm back to full brightness and full color. So for ease of installation, quality, brightness and color this is a good bulb for you.

Ok, this is a great replacement bulb. Posted a before and after pictures of my old bulb that had been in the projector for 5 years. It had yellowed the colors and it was very dim compare to before. The new bulb instantly fix my problems, gave new life to my projector and time will tell if it holds as well as the original bulb, but after 1 month (3 hours daily use), still looking sharp and new. Very easy to replace. Very happy with this replacement bulb.
