Perfect Replacement!
I own three Roku TVs (Element, Hisense, and onn brands), lost the remote to one of them. I got this one to replace the missing remote. Plain and simple, it just works. Did not have to do any programming, and it worked with each of the different brands of TV. Put batteries and in and go. The quick channel buttons work, and what is nice it actually has my most used services. The remotes that came with the TVs have Sling and Vudu, which I never used. It looks and feels just like the remotes that came with the TVs. The only difference is the volume/mute buttons are on the face of the remote not the side, which is actually nice because usually I have tendency to inadvertently hit the volume buttons while I hold the remote. This is an easy recommendation!

Replaces lost remote that came with TV
The Hisense "Google TV" is useless without a remote. There are no buttons on the TV. If you loose your remote, to be able to use the TV you have to get another remote. This remote is a little different in form factor and buttons than the original remote, which I misplaced. There are additional buttons that the original did not have. But all the buttons I tried worked fine. I primarily use the TV as an outdoor monitor, so every time I power it up, I have to select the HDMI input. This remote functions just like the original.

Finally, a Roku remote with volume/mute buttons on the top!
This remote works perfectly with my TCL Roku TV. I didn't even have to program it. Just put batteries in and you are good to go.The main reason I got this remote was because the volume/mute buttons are on the top rather than the side. I am constantly accidentally hitting those side buttons when handling the remote and it's very frustrating. It's the same on both of my other Roku devices. The only thing that is odd (and my reason for not giving it 5 stars) is that the volume buttons are backwards from what you'd expect. The buttons (volume up, volume down, and mute) are placed horizontally with the volume up button on the far left. In every other application (computer volume, media player volume, etc), volume down is on the left and volume up is on the right. This remote has the opposite. While they still work fine, it's an odd and non-intuitive placement choice.

works great
I've used the Replacement Roku TV Remote for my TCL TV, and it's been a convenient addition to my entertainment setup. With shortcuts for popular streaming services like Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, and YouTube, I can easily access my favorite content with just the touch of a button. The remote's compatibility with various TV brands like Hisense, Sharp, Philips, Onn, Element, and Insignia makes it versatile for different devices in my home. Its sleek design and ergonomic layout make it comfortable to hold and use. Overall, it's been a handy replacement remote that enhances my TV viewing experience with its shortcut functionalities.

Ok for now
I have bought so many of these remotes and they work but after awhile, you must replace them. I cannot tell you how many times I have bought these Roku remotes but I always get them because sometimes my Roku app on my phone might not always work or my phone can be dead so its good to have these lying around. It works and is compatible for my Hisense Roku televison.

exactly what you need
If your kids (or spouse :)) are regularly 'misplacing' your roku remote, and you don't want to give them your phone, this is perfect. Easy to pair and works well with the roku. Works just as well as the OEM remote. Good quality and product.

Good backup remote
This device is a good backup remote for my TCL Roku television, but I’m not retiring the original remote. The original one does have problems after a couple of years use, but it’s Bluetooth, which I now require. This new remote is only infrared so not only do I have to point it at the television, but I have to hold it higher so the aim clears my soundbar, which is only a little taller than the bottom of my TV. With the Bluetooth remote I can pause the television and any other function from another room, which has spoiled me for infrared. The infrared remote also doesn’t have the voice input or headphone option. BUT, it was inexpensive, and as a backup it will be very handy.

Not as good as the original, but might be good as a backup
The big problem with this Roku-TV replacement remote control is that the buttons are not very responsive. You find yourself having to press buttons multiple times to get anything to happen. Another major issue is that the buttons are not in the same place, so you find yourself pressing the wrong button. I don't understand why the volume and mute buttons are placed on the front of the remote, but I find myself pressing on the side to raise, lower or mute the volume, and of course, there are no buttons there. The muscle memory you develop with the original model is no longer useful. You'll have to look at the new remote until you get used to it, but if you have two remotes, the differing interfaces will likely annoy you. Batteries are not included, so you will have to include the cost of two AAA batteries in your value assessment. I think I'm more likely to use the remote in the Roku app than I am to use this, but I'll keep it around just in case. As the description states, this is only for Roku TVs and not for Roku devices, and since it uses infrared, you'll need to keep it in line of sight and aim it at the remote receiver on your TV.
