Lil Little Gotta Get It Green Tea Gelly Flaxseed Hair Gel Curl Enhancer No Frizz

I was previously using Curl Sculptor by Mixed Chicks in the shower but wanted something with more wholesome ingredients, so I was looking for a replacement. This is the perfect primer for me! Ingredients are very good, and there are no dyes or fragrances. But it does have an earthy scent, not over powering, just a light earthy scent. It behaves the same way as Curl Sculptor as water drips fast from my hair after applying. It defines. There was another flaxseed gel that I was eyeing for a while, but hesitated due to the price and limited generic ingredients. This price of this Green Tea Gelly is less for the same size product, even with shipping added! First time I used, I received a compliment from a stranger! I’m back to buy two more. Hope that it would be just as good in the summer. So glad it does not contain glycerin!😍

I gave this 3 stars because of the ingredients, but it gets 0 stars for the way it made my hair feel and look. It made my hair feel dry and brittle. There's no slip at all in this product, so combing this through my hair was not easy. It also did not give it any definition or control. It was just kind of fro'd out after putting on. I only used it on a small section of my hair and gave up on it. It just unfortunately doesn't work for my type of hair (thick, coarse, medium porosity, 3c/4a curls).

Gave me amazing definition on my 3a/3b curls . CGF and left my hair soft and shiny too. I had always heard that flaxseed gel was amazing but this stuff blew me away!

I purchased this because I wanted something more 'organic'. The pros is the ingredients; so, you know it's not a list of complicated items. I followed the instructions, and it works well with my hair! I can see positive results in my hair in terms of care and style. My only con is the price. I wish the bottle was a little bigger considering the cost. Plus, the amount of product won't last long. My suggestion is, (not wanting to be rude) if it's in a bigger bottle or jar, I would feel better about paying the current price for the amount I get. I wouldn't even mind if the price increased a little, but only if the size increased. Otherwise, I may purchase this again.
