Smart Carts Premium Yard Cart - Strong, Lightweight, and Perfectly Balanced (20" Air Filled Wheels)

This garden cart is just a sturdy plastic tub with wheels and a handle. Relatively light weight and easier to handle than a big wheelbarrow. The assembly instructions could be a little bit better in that it is possible (and easy) to install the axle support plates backwards, but I lucked out and did it correctly the first time. All assembly hardware was included, was very well packaged, and fit perfectly. I paid a bit extra for the flat-free tires (nice).

After our old steel wheelbarrow rusted out we were looking for a replacement with a plastic tub and were excited to find this SmartCart on Amazon after having admired their carts around the neighborhood. It arrived within a few days and was easy to assemble with the included instructions, even with the help of two toddlers. After we got it assembled we promptly put it to use redistributing soil from a decommissioned raised bed and I was impressed by how stable and easy to maneuver it was with a heavy load, and how easy it was to dump soil compared to our old wheelbarrow. That it stores standing up is just an added bonus. Looking forward to putting it to further use this season and years to come as it seems built to last.

This cart ended up being super expensive for what you get. I thought I was ordering a much more robust cart. Tried to return it but shipping back was going to be about $150 from MA to ME. So I canceled the return and I am trying to assemble it and the bolts are all too short! Like they barely make it through the plastic and not enough to get the nut to catch on the other side. Super frustrating. I think I’m going to have to gauge out some of the plastic or go buy new nuts 🤷‍♀️

The smart cart is great for helping transport dirt, plants and such around the yard for gardening. I appreciate that it’s more stable and easier to handle than a wheelbarrow. Glad I ordered!

Easy to assemble. Lightweight. Balances nicely. Cleans out quickly with hose. Love this cart.

I am using this under pretty extreme conditions. So far it’s worked out fairly well. Only concerns are the lack of tub support which makes it easy to puncture, and the front leg has no support which means if you are not gentle while putting this tub down you will fold the front end in. I’d recommend adding rods from the front leg angled up towards the back legs. Should solve that potential problem.

This smart cart is lighter and easier to wheel around than the wheelbarrow I had been using - it will make gardening and transporting soil and materials around the yard MUCH easier! The cart is simple but extremely functional. It was easy to assemble and I found the instructions clearly detailed and easy to follow. I recommend this to anyone who needs to move stuff around their yard. I'm very pleased with this purchase - thank you!
