I was looking for a reasonably priced dive watch with a little flair to replace my last reasonably priced dive watch. I wanted it to stand out a little but wasn’t trying to look like a Hoboken pimp. This watch fit the bill. Delivery from Amazon was next day which is always nice. This is a really handsome watch. Size of the face is as expected. It is a chunky watch. 4 or 5mm taller than I would have ideally liked, but exactly as specified and can’t hold that against them. I knew what I was getting on the thickness. Machining and finish are great and the luminescence out of the box is bright, surprisingly bright. The dials are large, solid and serve their purpose well, appearing to seal tightly when screwed down. Band is nice and appears solid. There was a complaint or two about the noise but that must have been an anomaly. I have held it to both ears and can’t hear a thing, even when I’m trying to nitpick it. I am very satisfied and will try to post a review in 2 months and let you know how she’s held up with daily wear and a family vacation to Costa Rica. Hope she’s as durable as she feels and keeps great time. If she holds up half as well as she looks fresh outta the mailbox, it will have been a really good purchase.

Very nice watch. The lume is amazing! Even with it in my watch valet the lume will be glowing at night when none of my other watches will be. The valet isn't even near any direct sunlight. The dial looks great and the band is quality. The finish is pretty good too. Amazing deal for the price.

I didn't know what to expect with this watch for the price. It is well constructed and has both a sapphire crystal face and display back to show off the Miyota 8215 automatic movement. The watch face features an inner rotating bezel which operates smoothly and securely and a miniscule date window. I doubt any legitimate diver would rely upon this as their dive watch, so I suspect the bezel adjustment dial is probably none too useful for divers with gloves on. I feel like this watch is more about the looks, but it's nice that the functions work as advertised. It's definitely my favorite budget watch! Pros: * This watch is sharp. The dial has a futuristic motif highlighted by the unconventional but fun font used for the numbers on the rotating bezel. * The movement is very smooth. Not quite like Seiko smooth, but if I recall correctly, it's 4 ticks per second. * Time is easy to read. The numbers are clear and crisp and allows for reading the face at a quick glance. Cons: * The lume glows really well after being charged up but fades pretty quickly. * The date window is TINY. Almost to the point where it is useless for older eyes like mine :) * The thickness of the case may make it difficult to use any of your metal bracelets you may have lying around that have end links which 'form up' to the watch case. Just a difference in dimensions, but it's worth mentioning. Indifferent: The automatic winding is a little noisy, but after a while you don't notice it. I do wish they would offer this in a slightly larger size, but 42mm is ok for a daily driver (diver?). Overall, this watch is a great buy for the money!

This Berny watch is striking in appearance. I collect watches so appreciate this watch's appearance, and the uniqueness of the inside timer dial. The watch band is also very good, although it's made for those with larger wrists than my 7.5 inch one. The reason I will return this watch is it is comparatively difficult to read in the day, and impossible to read at night. The uniqueness and striking appearance of the face, hand size and "busy-ness" of the lume at night simply overwhelm the hour and minute hand. If the watch appearance and function appeals to you, get it, but not if you need to be able to read the time at night.

Fantastically wearable watch that doesn’t impress anybody except people that grew up in the 80s since it has such an 80s arcade look it’s a great size. Great quality nice band. The only thing I don’t like is the word Berny on it. the blue one is marvelous. It does scratch on the bevel a little too easy because it looks kind of chromed out. But for the money, it’s fantastic. I love the contrast, fonts, heft and casual fun flare!

Very nice, good weight, dial is bright in the dark, internal bezel is cool and works nicely, don't like the band so I'm going to get a band I like otherwise I can't believe this isn't 500 bucks. Keeps great time, mine runs +2 seconds a week right now, super impressive. Friends try to steal it all the time. Mine also runs and self winds really quiet, I can't hear at all, some folks complained about the noise and the time accuracy, mine works like a $500.00 dollar Seiko 5 Sport. I'm buying this again but with the steel band. Tremendous value looks and runs great!

To follow up on what I wrote previously, after using it for some time, I’m not satisfied at all with this watch, sound irritates more and more and it has no functionality at night. Even under the sun all day, lume fades away in short time. And it is it readable when it is luming. This watch changed my approach to this kind of watches. They promise a lot but deliver much less. You can get better watch for 100 + bucks. Don’t buy this watch. This watch is just OK for the price. I wouldn’t se d it back but if I knew the real facts I wouldn’t bought it. Lume is there but designed so bad, at night you just see big bulky lumes rather than numbers. Arms also mit readable. You could get used to it but rewinding mechanism is noisy also.

Great value! Quality made! I own many quality high end watches, and this watch is up there with those. Great dive watch, high lumination. Highly recommend this automatic watch.
