1 inch Woodstove Gasket Rope, Door Gasket, Round Fiberglass Rope Seal (6 Feet)

I needed it to fill a gap in a fireplace vent. I had to reinvent it a little but it did the job, filled the area, and is fire resistant. I use fire resistant caulk to install it and it has worked just fine.

This rope is about an inch in its free state, but you will want to stretch it a bit when you install, and it gets a little narrower when stretched. If you can take your door off and lay it flat it makes it easier. Also having some clamps to hold it temporarily makes it much easier, especially if you are doing it alone. Installed easy with these tips.

Excellent replacement for my woodstove door seal had used 3/4 rope before but doors didnt seal tight, this rope is much thicker for being 1 inch now doors are tight sealed

I have an outdoor boiler the one inch thick gasket rope was perfect. I it was very easy to install. And I did it while the stove was going worked perfectly.

Difficult to cut 1-inch rope, not real neat. But overall performance on my Heritage hearth heater door is excellent.

Gasket served the right purpose for our pellet stove.
