Why so long?
Why have an o-ring in it when the cap is too long to engage it to seal properly? I bought these to satisfy the rules requirement of a metal cap with o-ring at a motorsports event in which I participated recently. I had no problem with them in tech, or even in use. But the threaded portion is so long the o-ring doesn't engage to seal as intended on a typical valve stem.
