Bpught some themed Waddingtons No1 playing cards to replace my old (15 years+) plain Waddingtons decks that are finally falling apart.The photos show the DeadPool deck, but the comments apply more generally to all my new decks.The cardstock used in both the cards and box seems thinner than my old cards - I can't imagine these cards lasting 15+ years of a game of solitare each night, let alone a game where they are being repeatedly shuffled, dealt, handled and played by multiple players. (Some of the new decks were labelled made in China, some in Poland. Both had thin box cardstick, but the China decks seemed to have thicker card cardstock).The card and box colours are good. The letter edging is not crisp and clean on the royal (king, queen, jack) cards It looks like thats a deliberate design choice, but personally I find it hard to read against the grey/white card background.The photo illustrations on the cards are good, but all the number cards of a given suit have the same illustration (unlike the Harry Potter or 007 decks, for example) which is a shame.The cards will do the job, but I suspect the thinner cardstock means they wont kast anywhere near as long as my old decks did.I would have prefered to pay twice the price for better quality cardstock. Lets help save the planet by making stuff thats more durable and designed to last a decade rather than a few days ....
