A nice way to become acquainted with the bars and the different flavors. I like the crunchy texture and the fact they are gluten free and vegan. I switched from another bar because I enjoy the texture of this one more than the chewy bars. It's a little small, but it will stave off hunger and has a good amount of protein and is fairly low in sugar.

Finding a protein bar has become a nightmare for me because I have to avoid gluten, dairy, almonds, sunflower seeds, soy, flex, chia, and too much sugar/carbs. It's very hard to find one that checks all those boxes. While I wish it didn't have any nut butter, seed butter, or chocolate, this one works for me. The taste is good, and it has a nice crunch. It's not a big bar, but it still gives a good amount of protein and calories (which I need). I would recommend it for people like me who are extra sensitive.

Our new favorite protein bars. While we lean towards the variety pack in our subscription, if you want to just get one single flavor the best are probably the vanilla matcha, blueberry maple, and pistachio chocolate. What separates all of the "meh" protein bars from the really good ones (for us anyway) is the Absence of that stiff, gooey consistency that so many are stuck with. Mezcla, Kind, and NuGo are the only ones that maximize protein while minimizing the fat/sugars (especially Mezcla) yet still keep the crunchy tactile appeal via the "crispies" in their bars. I'll concede that the super-high protein bars likely have to be play-doh-like in order to achieve 20g protein in under 200 kcal but it ain't worth it if you're struggling to chew, swallow a bunch of whey sawdust compressed into molasses.

I'm torn on these. I really love the flavor and when they are good; the texture is excellent (more on this below). I hate pasty chewy protein bars. Mezcla offered a promising alternative in the textural department by using pea protein puffs which are great. They are easy to digest (I don't have a problem with legume based FODMAPs) and work as a good mid-morning snack. The bars survive shipping well and are good take to work. Why not 5 stars? I've ordered 3 different flavors four times over and have a reasonable amount of data for comparison. The problem is when these bars are good - they are absolutely exceptional. But there is significant variation between batches. The good batches are light and crunchy with delicious flavor. But not all batches are the same. Some of them have the texture of a pasty powerbar (yuck!) with a crunchy topping. Sometimes the hazelnut flavor is not pronounced and sometimes the pistachio bar is lacking in pistachio flavor. Sometimes you only taste chocolate. I suspect some of these are growing pains for a small company but they need to focus on quality assurance and ensure their suppliers are providing ingredients of consistent quality. I can't give them five stars until they get this right but otherwise the product would deserve five stars. I really want their product to succeed.

When you just dont have time to stop for lunch these healthly Protein Bars are great. Full of protein and natural ingrediants. Taste is the best in my opinon there is no after taste like others I have tried.

I’m really impressed with Mezical Bars — they strike that rare balance between healthy and crave-worthy. These are great snacks. They taste amazing while also being GF and DF.

This is a great protein/energy bar: yummy flavors, great crunch, and clean ingredients. This particular flavor is too sweet for me so I gave it 4 stars.
