GREAT NUC
Well first off every product i have bought from GMK has been excellent. With NUC's there is some tradeoff with ports and this one is the same I would like more usb-c ports but other than that is it a great unit. I run a pretty unique setup with a 49" LG ultra gear curve and a second display is an HDMI fed 15" graphics tablet with built in display. It has no problem driving both HDMI's. The 49" is a 5120X1440 and the 15" is 1920X1080. I use this setup primarily for doing some compiling code and code writing. I run VS and python on it and have found it to be very capable and have not had a single problem the resources running out. The DDR4 is quite fast. The SSD access is very quick. I run this setup at 45 watt and it works great. I do monitor the cores for usage and they balance pretty well. You don't notice the loading, unloading and turbo working at all except the fan speed might go from around 2000 rpm up to 4000 rpm for a second or less. But the fan is super quiet. One of the only issues I have is that the way the Intel integrated graphics cannot be monitored for load or usage from any monitoring software I could find. I am not huge computer gamer, but it ran cyberpunk and starfield quite well on this 49" ultra-wide curved monitor. I found this NUC at a great price point and with plenty of ram and SSD space. This is a great unit especially those looking at an intel setup. I have really been pleased with it and have not found any real issues with it. Setup was quite easy packaging was great.

Perfect for TV
I bought this to connect to my TV and be able to play media from an external hard drive and it has exceeded my expectations in just about every way. It is very small. Probably about the same volume as my Roku ultra though this is more of a cube instead of a flat rectangular prism. But this can do so much more. I have an external blu ray drive and can play and rip movies right from my TV. On top of that I can search the web and play or download free movies and shows from various places like archive.org. I got a controller for it with a keyboard and touchpad from reiie that is perfect and can do everything a keyboard and mouse can do in a single small handheld unit. I've only had this a few weeks and I'm no tech wizard so I really don't know what all this is even capable of but so far it has done everything I want it to do and more. And the price is really unbelievable. But being able to connect this to a TV and have the ability of playback from anywhere on the web without having to mess with screen casting or transferring files is a game changer. Not being limited to a streaming devices apps makes for a much wider availability of content. And it's perfect for those who want to digitize their physical library and be able to store and view it in one place that can be easily connected to a TV. (Though it will take forever just a heads up) The performance seems to be quite impressive as well. At times it lags but I've been putting it through some hefty downloads and there are other variables at play when it comes to that like the many other devices connected to and using the network. For my intended use this is absolutely perfect. And I like that I have so much more capability with this than something like a Roku or other streaming devices. If I want to I can even get Microsoft office and connect a printer or run other programs for things like video editing or anything you can do with a PC. The specs are pretty impressive for the price and size of it and additionally it can be connected to a standard monitor and used as a PC. This computer has revolutionized my ability to watch shows and movies without paying a monthly streaming fee that leaves you with nothing to keep. Of course you can run any of the streaming services from this as well if you'd like but having the ability to download files from the internet makes a big difference. Especially since most services won't allow you to download movies and shows even though you've purchased them. You can only view them using their app and an internet connection is required. Realizing this I decided physical copies are far superior and I'd rather have files I can view at any time than the license to view a show or movie using a specific streaming service. Granted most of them allow you to download things you've purchased to view without an internet connection but it still requires the app so there are limitations. In my opinion if I've bought something I should be able to download and transfer it to my other devices without having to use third party services that track your activity and use it to market things to you. With this I can. I couldn't ask for much more from this and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who enjoys accessing tons of free content on the internet that isn't available with most devices that can be connected to a TV with an HDMI cable.

Powerful little box for server workloads, very stable so far
I bought this mini PC to replace my old NAS as the primary Plex server in my home network. I installed Ubuntu Server 24.04 LTS and built out a full setup including Plex, Tautulli, NFS v3 automounts to a Synology NAS, watchdog, zram, unattended-upgrades, fail2ban and Timeshift. The hardware has handled everything without issues. The i5-12450H has more than enough power for Plex. Local NVMe storage is fast. The 2.5 GbE NIC runs at full speed with no drops. My NFS mounts stay stable during long media scans and heavy activity. CPU temps stay in the 30s–40s under normal load and the box remains quiet. I run Plex metadata locally on the NVMe, and all media streams over NFS from the Synology. Even with heavy scanning or chapter thumbnail generation, performance has been smooth. I also tested zram at 50 percent of RAM and everything remained stable. Only one thing I noticed: during boot, I get occasional ACPI and i2c “lost arbitration” warnings in the system logs. They don’t seem to affect the actual performance of the mini PC, but I want to make sure it’s not indicating a hardware-level issue. Question for the manufacturer: Are ACPI or i2c “lost arbitration” messages normal on this model, or is this a firmware/BIOS issue that needs an update? Outside of that, this is a solid mini PC for server workloads and home lab setups.

Good for most users... (just be careful with the power brick)
Nice small mini PC! Great for web browsering, office work and lite gaming... I mostly use it for browsing, but it's good for emulation. Fast and smooth with windows 11 and M.2 SSD. Really nice disign. Easy to use. Reasonable price. *my only complaint about it is that it comes with a power brick, which is reasonable since it requires more power for performance. But... It damaged my living room Samsung Smart Tv... I connected it to the same power strip as the TV and after 5 mins of use, the screen started flickering and stop working. Only audio and a few multicolor lines show... Sadly... So please be aware when connecting it and using it.

I purchased this Mini PC to utilize as a server for my home automations and more. The processor and memory are more than enough to handle the Proxmox OS I replaced Windows 11 on it with (though the Windows 11 Pro installation it came with worked very well, it wasn't what I needed for my purposes). Setup was easy, power consumption is minimal, and it's been running cool and quiet ever since I powered it on. The 3 USB ports, 1 Gigabit Network Port, and 2x HDMI ports and the Micro SD reader are perfect for what I need to run, as are the onboard Bluetooth and Wifi. With 12GB of Ram it has plenty of overhead to run several Virtual Machines at once without getting bogged down. It's been online for a couple weeks now with no issues at all. I really wish I had purchased this sooner.

1st of all, I want to thank GMKtec for helping locate and sending me a mounting bracket after I reached out with questions regarding mounting. This little PC is amazing for what it is and purchased it to create an entertainment server/PC to free up my aging laptop. After setting it up and changing some settings in the Bios (tons of tutorials on YouTube) it was running better than my ASUS ROG GL552VW laptop! I use RUST Desktop and Plex for the most part and it handles it very well as an "always on" PC for media in my apartment. I also have Spofity installed and linked to my Bluetooth sound system to have music always ready when I want it! I still can't believe we are able to make PCs this small and have them work amazingly as well as keep cool under load. I will tho recommend like always to research mini PCs and reviews before jumping to buy one to make sure your needs are covered. I even tested running Steam Remote Play/Link from my main gaming PC as well as Moonlight Game Streaming to have streamless gaming streamed to my flatscreen in my bedroom with an Xbox Controller! It is awesome! Overall, I am pleased with this purchase and PC as well as the price I was able to get it for! Thanks, GMKtec for all the help and amazing product! NOTE: The photo is next to a JBL Go 2 to get an idea of size.
