Got this for my son for 17 year old Christmas to use with his buddies. He loved it.

This is a nice mat for under our tabletop firepit. I attached photos and a short video demonstrating the mat in use and also representing the size. Our firepit is 6.5" and it fits perfectly in the center of this 20" mat. We havent had any embers or anything hit it, but it did great at minimizing the heat transfer from the firepit to the table. I feel pretty confident it would handle a rogue ember safely as well. The material up close and feel-wise is very similar to my grill mat (see photo). If you have or plan to have one these little firepits... I'd definitely recommend this mat, a great value.
