Beautiful boards and great for older children over 10 years old, but not for small children.

This board was perfect for my 11 year old. He said it was smooth and had a nice grip. He was on it all week at the beach and it is still in great shape.

The wood is not the hardest its pretty bendy. The top does have a good grip on it, but ive seen other reviews that says that the board has to go to ur chest level and this one is definitely smallef. Im 1.8 and it hit my waist.

The media could not be loaded. We had a blast learning how to skimboard with this board. The foam pad is really grippy, which helped stay on the board. The bottom is super smooth, allowing the board to glide well, even without additional product. In stronger wind, the board did catch a bit since it has a lot of surface area, so it’s important if you’re smaller or not as strong that you keep the board parallel to the ground to avoid the board going wonky. We had a tremendous day testing out the BPS skimboard, even when we had to move to a “nontraditional playground” after realizing we were not going to skim a beach with an oyster bed.

Purchased for grandson who lives at the North Carolina coast. Great in the water and in the snow! He did some snow "surfing" in the winter. He is really enjoying it.

Our 13 year old loves this

I couldn't decide whether to buy my son this skimboard or one which requires waxing. Ultimately my laziness won out. We could not be happier with the skimboard. It does exactly as advertised and no waxing required.
