Lockjaw Olympic Barbell Collar

Great bit of kit, would be five stars if not so expensive

Aw man, I think there's nothing more insufferable than the whole barbell/dumbbell clamp issue. How dull, I think over the years, time spent unscrewing spin-lock wheels, or trying to twist those horrible scaffold-style OLY bar clamps is equal to the time spent sitting at a red light.Put a stop to that stuff and grab these, I thought that this was one of those popular products with a questionable reputation (E.g Too good/too easy to be true) but I have been using these for about a year now and they are just as amazing as Day 1. C'mon you've read the reviews, there's not much more to say, they clamp, they stay, even while clanking around the bar doing heavy deadlifts and bent over rows.I had a lot of fun doing the peoples elbow on my old scaffold-style clamps. Grab a pair of these, you'll wonder how you ever did without them!

Arrived quickly feels robust but did not have the brand name"lock jaw" written on the side as they have on their picture.Which makes me think the product maybe a fake ? Also did not contain any product literature.

Fed up with the time and effort it took me to remove and secure my spring collars, I decided to purchase these Lock Jaw collars. What a difference they make! They are absolutely brilliant! Although quite pricey, they are worth every penny. Removing and securing these onto my barbell is quick and easy - unlatch the clip, and the collar slides on/off the barbell with ease. Latch it, and it holds the plates securely. Something to keep in mind is that the collar is quite wide, so it takes up more room on the sleeves compared to a spring collar.

I purchased these after reading the poor reviews on the more expensive version of these collars. I have only had these for a few weeks but they are holding up very nicely. They lock the weights down tight and are significantly better than using those naff metal spring type collars. They are expensive but in this case you get what you pay for, they feel like they are made to last and there are no other reasonable alternatives. All in all I'm very happy.

Mine were plain black no lockjaw logo on mine. But seem to be doing a good job so far.

Fantastic collars. I bought an olympic weight set and the barbell was not of great quality. The spring collars scratched off the shiny coating on the ends of the barbell. This meant that the ends started to scratch and then rust. The rusting made it very hard to then used the spring collars.I bought the lock jaw collar as it seemed like it would go onto the barbell easier - it did and it was money well spent.

Arrived Quickly from seller, very high quality, does the job perfectly. I wish I'd come accross these a long time ago. Not inexpensive, but well worth the money, makes plate changing an absolute dream. Obviously designed by someone who uses or has used wieghts for a long time and knows how important little things like these can be to productive and enjoyable training sessions. If I had to use a commercial gym, I would take these with me each time for sure.
