Very well made and finished nicely. Runs quietly without vibration. Timer feature is handy as fan can be left on inadvertently because it runs quietly. Tilting feature is appreciated and air flow stays where it's directed. Appears durable so far; happy with the overall purchase.

First off, this is a smaller, table-top fan, so you should be prepared that this does not move the same volume of air as, say a regular box fan. That said, for its size, it moves an impressive amount of air and it surprisingly quiet, especially on the low and medium setting. A few years ago, I had bought a similar fan (different brand) to take with me when traveling to locations that do not generally have AC or even fans in rooms (as standard - as we do here in the US). It fit into my suitcase and worked well enough. This AMACOOL fan is slightly smaller and works better. It's quieter and moves more air. While I haven't done an exhaustive comparison of this AMACOOL fan vs all other similarly-sized alternatives, I find it difficult to believe you can find a fan that is significantly better than this one. One last point: I've only had this a short time, so not sure about the durability. Will update if/when the situation calls for it.

I like this fan. perfect for my needs. Purchased this for my guest bathroom to help with air circulation. I dont have an exhaust ceiling fan. Works well and blows air very well. better than I expected and not as small as I thought which was a concern. currently its sitting on top of my toilet tank until I decide where best to install . I gave a 4 star because of the installation method is a concern. it says no drill and comes with an adhesive backed strip. I have painted walls and thats not going to hold up. I will have to drill or place on a shelf on the wall. its portable and is rechargeable. Need to full charge before using.

These work great! We use them in the bathroom windows to move some air in the summer time. They fit nicely in the window frame, and then gently close the window to block it in..
