Good tape. Holds a small cloth on wall

Ordered this tape to hang up items in my camper. To cut to the quick of it I am not sure this is a genuine product so it is difficult to write an accurate review. I found it to not stick very well after I had touched it with my hands, the tape very quickly lost adhesion. So if you are going to use it be sure to wear gloves and clean the surfaces well. I looked up the same product sold by 3m and it looks different, the website also lists this VHB tape as non removable that it will adhere permanently, which s something you may not want for hanging pictures. Based on my suspicions about the tape's origin (it didn't come with anything I can use to validate the brand) and it's quick loss of adhesion when touched a 3 star review was the best I could do. The listing pictures do accurately portray the product sent.

I love 3M products. This double sided tape is so useful to adhere many things. I really needed it to re-adhere my frames together. The backs were starting to come apart from the frame, maybe from heat or age. But these are stuck to the wall using 3M command strips, and I didn’t want to take the chance that they would fall off of the wall. These came in clinch! Now I don’t worry that the weight of the glass will make the paper separate from the frame. This was a great price for a great product!

This VHB tape performs very similarly to the 3m black VHB tape. It doesnt stick tremendously well to polished granite or other smooth surfaces but for painted and slightly rough surfaces its by far the best. Its got just enough foam to keep it durable when mounted to things that move or get bumped. But its also thin like most other double sided tapes. From my experiences it works very well outdoors where temps fluctuate and even get super hot. At the same time though its always removable no matter what you use it for. Great stuff!!

This is being sold as 3M double sided tape. It is not. All 3M products are made in the US. This item is made in China. It’s not bad tape, it’s just not what it is claimed to be.

I bought this wall tape to hang led lights in my classroom. It did the job! It is holding the lights exactly where I need them. It has great holding power.

Living in the Midwest for a while, 3M was a brand that you could find in every hardware store. When it is a brand you grew up with, it is hard to like anything else better. Double sided tape is a standard thing to use as a woodworker, particularly when using a template to cut duplicate copies of things.I've always had 3M products around my workspace and still prefer it to many other brands I've tried. This double sided tape has been a reliable tool in my kit for years. When you find something good and reliable you stick with it. Bad pun but good advice.
