I have used brass spigots for my ceramic crocks for years but the brand I used to buy appears not to be available anymore. Tried these ... not really brass colored (more like tinted chrome look, spigot only works in one direction which can be annoying until you get used to it. Already showing signs of old-age as the handle is not getting harder to turn on.

I had to reference the sales page to make sure I was putting them on correctly but other than that, they went on very easy. Feel snug just hand tight. Its all metal, but for the silicone gaskets which are thick and sturdy. Just be mindful of how fast the water flow actually is. Its twice the speed of the floppy plastic ones that I replaced. Also its like an actual valve you have to push to its off position. It does not snap back like the plastic ones do. And...when you test it, make sure its actually IN the off position before dumping the water in. It makes a horrible mess (please see the comment about how FAST it is) I recommend these totally.

Looks and feel well made. Fit great onto our beverage dispenser. Much nicer metal spouts than the plastic spouts that were on it.
