Writing an essay on Jung and the psychological types? Buy this book!
This is a wonderful book, taking a look at the development of the personality and of psychological types from a Jungian perspective. It’s really nice to read, and the stories and examples illustrating the points are helpful. The definitions are clear, as are the multiple examples. This book helps provide a way in, to understand a complex area. The model arrives at a truer picture of Jung’s model that the MBTI in my opinion. This is really a thought provoking model for those interested in human nature or those in clinical practice, like myself. For those studying Jung’s model of the personality or writing an essay on psychological types from a Jungian perspective, there are multiple quotes and directions to the collected works.

Essential reading
This is a "must have" book for anyone interested in personality/psychological types e.g. Jungian Analysts, training analysts, personality assessment specialists, occupational psychologists, HR practitioners and leaders/managers. It is a highly engaging, informative book which accurately interprets Jung's highly influential body of work, Psychological Types, in an easy to understand way so you don't have to be a psychological expert. It is a great compliment to the GCI training and I've found it to be a great resource to better understand personality in both a clinical and workplace setting.

Over complicated.
Ive worked with this theory for quite a while, but this book was made for too complicated by the style of the writer who seemed to be fitting it into his own theory.
