Requires patience but they will be rewarded
Before you install this product you must take them completely apart and put a thread locker on all the Allen screws inside it. Make sure you use a good grease on all the moving parts. You may have to shim parts to get everything aligned. For what this is it is a fantastic addition to your project. Take your time and have fun.

Not worth it unless all you need is the axle housing.
**UPDATE** Axle housing broke after a few sessions. Save your money and buy the kit straight from WPL. Only reason I got these was less wait time, after a dog bit and broke the WPL metal axle. These are trash, gear mesh is unattainable, therefore making them pretty useless. However, all I needed was the housing, and I was able to take the ring & pinion, axle shafts, and wheel bearings out of my WPL metal axles and put them in this housing, that’s the only reason for two stars and not one.

Good axles for the price, well made
Pretty much the same design as everyone else, I wish they'd offer an open diff version for trail runners but for crawling they're fine, mine were well aligned as far as seams etc, however they had zero grease in them, I prefer what I use anyway. Still waiting on parts to complete the build but I have no regrets from what I've seen so far

1/16 crawler axel upgrade
In general the product seemed awesome but after tear down of original axels and install of the new unit the front axel pinion shaft/gear does not work. I had to glue the threads on the steering components so they didn’t come loose and the front wheels have no power since the gears do not engage. I would like to keep them if they actually worked. I have to put the original axel back in for it to function.

Would be better if….
These would be better if I didn’t have to do so much to them. The finish on these axles are nice. However, there are several things that I would recommend doing before installing them. 1) These axles come dry, so make sure you grease them. 2) Put blue loctite on the small allen screws that hold the stubs on the rear axle. If you don’t, they will back out, making the wheels wobble and likely fall off. 3) Put a nut on one end of the steering / alignment rod on the front axle. It does not come with one, and it’ll spin while driving it over stuff, causing your alignment to get all wonky. 4) Metal driveshafts are a must as the stock plastic WPL ones do not fit without forcing them on. Even then, they do not go all the way on. Once all of this is done, they work great. They do seem to improve the steering radius of the truck a little. If I can do half stars it would be a 3.5.

Axle Review.
I installed the axle set on my RC Crawler and it looks great and is very durable. I am going to repurchase for my other trail RC. Arrived on time!

Trash
Absolute garbage. Got them and put them in my truck and everything steering related was loose and couldent be tightened. And the front end, the gears stripped out after 2 rides and there is so much slack in them. Ended up buying some plastic cases portal axles and they are so much better.
