No smell, no taste blends in well with smoothies and my muesli yoghurt mix. I see the results, collagen helps reduce my aches and pains, skin smoother and they say I look younger. Great value for money too.

Dissolves well No taste

Reviewing unflavored hydrolyzed types 1 & 3 collagen peptides. It’s a blue labeled bag. It says take 2 scoops but gives you no direction on how much water or anything to take it with. So I looked at the reviews and most people are putting in coffee or yogurt. I wanted to see what it was like by itself. I went with 10oz of water and was a little scared because the scoops are not huge,but not little either. I used one of those shaker cups with the spring inside. I used cold but not ice cold water and it dissolved by itself,but i shook it anyways. I smelled it first and it does have a smell I can’t describe so I was worried on how it was going to taste lol. But luckily…it didn’t taste bad,it really didn’t taste like anything. Like there’s a VERY minute something of a taste and I can’t pinpoint or describe it but I really would just say it doesn’t have a taste. 1/2 hour later,I got a headache that wouldn’t go away. Google it. Some people get headaches from using collagen peptides. It has something to do with histamine. I’m trying one scoop tonight to see if headache comes back.

Swelling lessened.

I bought this when I noticed every time I got up from sitting lotus style my knees sounded like bags of potato chips being mangled! Also, my nails had started getting thin, and they were splitting and breaking. After using it for not quite two months there has lately been a noticable strengthening of my nails. My knees aren't making as much noise either. Each week they get better. I've also noticed a lot of new baby hairs coming up in my hair. Though that wasn't a reason for taking this product it's a nice little bonus for sure. One issue I had is the taste. "Unflavored" means no added flavors. It doesn't mean there is no flavor or taste to the product. I'm someone who can pick between filtered water and distilled water after one sip. But, you'll notice I didn't mark any stars off for this, it's just because I'm weird. To me it has a strong, distinct bone flavor. Not a juicy grilled ribeye steak bone flavor, but just plain bone. Not a fan. I've found the best way to deal with this is I pour about 3 1/2 tbls of my hot morning tea into a shot glass, then add the 2 scoops of product. I let it sit and dissolve for several mins until it's completely, 100%, clear. I drink it quickly, without breathing and follow it fast with a big gulp of my tea. No different than taking medicine. Really important to make sure that it dissolves completely before you drink it or you'll have the gritty bits stuck in your teeth & gums after drinking and have that bone taste to deal with. With how well this is working on my joints, nails and an added bonus of my hair I feel it's worth it.

Great product and convenient to ingest mixed with water or other beverage

We all hate growing older, but it is inevitable. I have purchased and tried many Collagens supplements many times. Most work very well, this one just happens to be the most affordable. A friend of mine met with me for dinner recently and commented on my appearance. He said, "the last time that I saw you, your face looked droopy, you look really good". I graciously thanked him and told him my secret. Now he uses it too. At 55 years old, my skin looks almost 20 years younger. It is great for your hair and nails also. But be patient, stick to a daily regimen. You won't be disappointed.

Something is off. I've ordered this before and it was fine. This bag has a slightly sour taste. You can smell it in the bag. Had to toss it.
