Best of the jewel quest - even if it does stick
This is the hardest and best of the jewel quests and took me ages to complete. I agree it does stick and can be very irritating! Be careful putting the puzzles together - I got one wrong so restarted the game only to get stuck again and realised I had put someone together wrong - the heads don't always go on the bodies you think they do! But it was great fun and I managed to complete it just in time before HP Lego 5-7 arrived. Husband thinks I'm crazy and all gaming is a waste of time but it is fun!

Good Start
I thought this game was brilliant when I first started to play it, clever little touches, and very addictive. But having got onto a much higher level now, I am finding it impossible to play. Dont know if I will go back to this game, its getting very frustrating.

Why is this game sold with a software glitch!!!
I like this game, not too easy but why is it still being sold when there are obviously software problems! Nearly every review here is experiencing the same freezing issues. It's a pain and not enjoyable when you have to keep switching it on and off. This game should be withdrawn from sale until the software issues are resolved otherwise it's just plain fraud!

Stick with it! You'll be glad you did.
This is my favourite jewel match game ever, and I've played many. It keeps to the basic Jewel Quest theme, matching 3 or more jewels to turn the board to gold but offers many-a-twist to keep the game fresh. There are boards that require you to drop keys into locks, keep monkeys in cages, melting ice blocks with fire jewels and more, but all the time keeping to the basic Jewel Quest board which we know and love. There is also a "puzzle" element to the game, with rewards of puzzle pieces for solving boards, which you use to complete a picture of a character on a family tree. When complete you open up that characters boards to play. There is a problem with the game freezing especially at or very near the end of a jewel board. Tip: If solving time is running out and the timer starts to tick, if you know you won't be able to solve the puzzle before time runs out, click "restart board" and try again. This will save you from the game freezing at the end and you having to switch off completely. One more tip: When you want to switch off, BEWARE! Make sure you quit the game properly and go back to the main menu. I switched off mid-game once, and when I turned it on again it told me the data had been corrupted and deleted, so had to start from scratch again!!. After my initial hissy-fit, I decided to play the game through once again from the beginning, finding I still enjoyed it immensely, proving it has replay value as well. So, software problems aside, the actual game itself is top notch, so stick with it! You'll be glad you did.

Hard Game with Glitches
I love 3 of a kind matching games so I thought I would treat myself to this one. Well, it started off ok, but the game has started freezing and getting very difficult. It freezes about twice in every hour of play, there is a click, and it sticks, there is nothing I can do apart from turning the machine off and starting it up again! This is very frustrating. I don't know whether anyone else is having the same problem or whether mine is a faulty game. I also find the game very difficult. Now maybe that is just me, but I am not this bad with any other 3 of a kind game, I can always get there eventually, but this game defeats me all the time. I have got so far but lothe to pick it up now to have another go.The game consists of chosing different boards to play, there are five for each member of the family and you have to build up the picture of the family member by collecting puzzle pieces of parts belonging to each member of the family before you can play their boards. If you don't succeed in completing a board, you don't get a puzzle piece, therefore you can't progress to other boards belonging to other family members until you complete the picture of the family member (from the puzzle pieces.) There are quite a few members of the family to collect, you can see their blank spaces further up the family tree. Each family member has a different type of challenge within their boards, some are limited number of moves, limited tiles, some are frosted 'buried' tiles, and some you need fire or ice to melt the buried tiles. I was trying to make 3 of a kind of these fire and ice tiles before I realised that you just needed to drag one over the frost or ice tile to release it... I did see later on, that the screen above told you how to do this the first time you did the board, but it was easy to miss.So all in all I am not very happy with this game, it is now in the drawer and I am playing the new Cradle of Rome 2 .......bliss.

Best of the bunch
Best of its type but challenging. I have taken a break from it at the moment, but looking forward to trying again to solve one of the puzzles. I doubt a 3 year old could tackle it but who knows?
