Nice 160MB/sec transfer / write rates. Quick transfer of large files via USB 3.1. Only takes a minute to transfer a couple movies to watch on my smart TV. Can't beat offline storage for its security and portability.

It may be a good idea to purchase an external Solid State Drive (SDD) or HDD for more storage or to easily transfer files and documents from one device to another. This external SSD (128 GB) is lightweight and easy to carry. There is not much you can do to use it. Just connect it to the desired device. It can be connected to a computer with a USB port as well as to a smartphone with a type C port (if necessary, a micro-usb adapter to type C exists). It's plug and play. The devices automatically recognize the SSD and access it. Data transfer and writing to the external drive is done quickly and without any bugs, even with a lot of data. Overall, it is a fast, efficient and useful external SSD.

This drive failed after 2 weeks, taking with it thousands of photos (I'm a photograph). I wanted to transfer those photo to an other computer and the drive crashed while transfering. The drive is no longer accessible and I have lost countless hours of work to this faulty drive. If you want to buy this, it's at your own risk because although most reviews seem good, there's a chance it dies and destroys your data. I won't take the risk twice.

Works great. Bought it to use with the NVIDIA SHIELD TV. A previous USB drive I bought wasn't recognized, but this one works great so far!
