Reliable, Set-and-Forget Smart Water Protection
I’ve been using the NSF Certified YoLink FlowSmart All-in-One Smart Water Meter & Auto Shutoff for a few months now, and overall it’s been great. Setup was easier than expected, and once it was installed, it’s been running quietly in the background without any issues. Real-time water usage tracking is very useful, and the leak detection with automatic shutoff gives real peace of mind. It’s reassuring knowing the system can shut off the water on its own if something goes wrong, especially when I’m away from home. The app works smoothly, alerts arrive quickly, and the connection has been very reliable so far. I do use it outdoors, and while it’s been working fine, I’m not fully sure about long-term outdoor exposure, so I covered the unit with plastic film for extra protection. Since doing that, everything has continued to work perfectly. Overall, it feels well made and thoughtfully designed. If you’re looking for a dependable smart water meter with auto shutoff that actually does its job, this one has been worth it for me.

You can depend on YoLink - quality product at a great price
I already have a YoLink shut off device installed on my main house line, and a separate smart water meter device, but if this new Flowsmart device had been available I could just have used this all in one device! Anyway, I bought this one to install on the line that feeds my swimming pool. Now, not only do I know exactly how much water my pool consumes, I can control that from the mobile app. One of the reasons I got into YoLink was that their devices don't rely on wifi, instead they use LoRa, a long range and low power protocol that means that the battery consumption is miniscule, and you their devices will work all over your house and yard, where wifi typically has black spots. Yes, you do need a YoLink hub but you only need one of those, and then you can connect as many YoLink devices as you need. I'm up at 42 different YoLink devices now. I hope that tells you how good their products are and how happy I am with them. Most of those are leak detectors, all over my house, under sinks and behind toilets. Yes, this exactly cheap, but the damage and disruption and expense of a water leak in your home can cause tens of thousands of dollars of damage. I've spent less than my insurance excess and it's money well spent for peace of mind. Anyway, the Flowsmart is the typical, high quality hardware that you expect from YoLink, and in their mobile app you have a million different ways to control the device. You can set schedules, countdown timers, set alerts on consumption or duration, and of course pair it up with leak detectors to automate shut off in the event of any water leak being detected. Really the only downside of this device is you need to do some plumbing to install it. In my case I connected it to a PVC line outside, but I could have hired a plumber. Depending on how your pipes are configured it's no more than 1 or 2 hours work. If DIY or hiring a pro is not something you want to do, YoLink has other shut off devices that can be installed by anyone in about 20 minutes with no plumbing required. The thing that you won't get with those though is they don't include water meter capability. I mentioned that I already had a separate water metering device, so I compared the usage recorded from the Flowsmart to the usage recorded on the whole house meter and the numbers were very close, just 1% to 2% difference between them. The fact you get both a shut off device, and a water meter all in one for around $250 is incredible. I happily recommend YoLink products without hesitation.

A great product...Highly Recommended
We live in Michigan but spend the winters in Florida. Our chief concern was avoiding a disastrous flood from frozen pipes or water tank failure. This is an amazing product, it provided peace of mind while us saving money. The Intuitive software app provides options for alarm settings with notifications sent as text and email to my mobile device. The valve can be set to automatically close based upon a single session water usage, continuous water use length of time or if the system detects a leak. We supplemented the valve with the YoLink leak sensors placed under sinks and near toilets. The meter is intelligent without being overly controlling. It gave me total control. I found it straight forward and easy to adjust limits. It worked seamlessly with the optional leak sensors. As a bonus, the water usage graphics identified slow leaks from toilets that no doubt had existed for years. The savings from water saved will cover the cost of the unit itself in time. We hired a plumber to install the meter which was accomplished in under two hours. DIY if you are handy with plumbing. YoLink technical support was available promptly upon demand. I could actually call and speak to a support agent without a long drawn out voice mail menu or waiting for a slow e-mail response. They were professional, knowledgeable and prompt in addressing my concerns. In summary, the YoLink devices worked as advertised and we are completely satisfied.

Muy bueno, funciona a la perfección. Me da muchos datos sobre el comportamiento del consumo de agua y me ayuda a prevenir desperdicios con una configuración muy personalizable.
