Works exactly how it should! I had to buy a new one because my original charger went bad and started overcharging the batteries. This one works perfect and it turns off when the charge is complete! Has built in fan to keep the charger cool and is very compact and easy to store when not in use.

This works. I just wish it had the settable option to not enter float mode and stop charging so that it would also be compatible with LiFePO4 batteries. It is a small change that would add a lot of extra compatibility for miniscule cost. Maybe not perfect compatibility, but good enough. They like to charge a whole lot more for the ones that advertise multichemistry compatibility.As long as your LiFePO4 has a BMS with authority to disconnect the charger on overvoltage (not every BMS can), or you ALWAYS unplug it manually immediately upon charge completion with LiFePO4, then it should be ok to use this with both chemistries.Note: That advice is not from the manufacturer, just some random guy on the internet(me) that does not know anything about your particular setup. You probably should just spent the extra for a real multichemistry unit that looks basicly the same.

My last battery charger bit the dust so I had to find a replacement that had the 3 pin Yamaha plug. This one is a third the size and weight of my old one which makes it so much easier to use. Its more quiet than my original charger that made humming noise when charging. Price is reasonable as used units are twice as much and a new one at the local golf cart shop was $450.
