Four 8” tall (‘(top diameter is 6.9”), colorful plastic pails with handles - they seem quite sturdy. The handles are well anttached. Actually I used one of the beach sand pails for a different purpose. My home office and the adjoining bathroom are awash with bright primary colors. I call my office my happy place. The bathroom evolved into a beach theme that all started with a school of fish I purchased for display years ago. Then came a beach ball rug, a nautical robe hangin on the door, a beach/water poster - well, you get the picture. The necessary items - soap dish, waste basket, tissue holder etc. - are red, blue and golden yellow. I always try to add some greenery. In this case I filled the golden yellow pail with a faux plant ( also from Amazon, der Rose plants). Yes, anything can be a planter. This one certainly fit the theme.

These are a perfect size for a gift basket.

I'm knocking off a star on these simply because I think $25 for four relatively standard beach buckets and shovels is too high a price. Not that there's anything wrong with these buckets - they're like any other bucket out there with relatively flimsy detachable handles. They do work well for molding your sand castle sides given their hard-sided design. The shovels are just okay as well- not the most solid but certainly not flimsy. Check the dimensions, as they're not oversized like the one picture depicts. All in all, they're working out just find for us but not sure I'd ever pay that much for them. You can basically get full sets of beach toys for half the price.

The quality of these beach buckets were terrible. I should have just grabbed dollar store buckets - they would've lasted longer. The first afternoon my kids played with them, they all had cracks.
