No worries, handle even stays cool and passes the usual three concerns. Traditional colors but unlike many white has a proper inner lip to support the cheese better. I also reheated chili in in a few, chili got hot but handle stayed cool unlike a Corelle style bowl. I may not use the lids much but nice to know that is an option. I bought two sets so one can be in the dishwasher and I do not have to wait to use more. Only used one set so far but that can change. Weight is reasonable, too me.

After reading some of the 1 star reviews, I ordered them anyway. Bought them specifically for French onion soup. I would recommend the 22oz bowls which I ordered. When I picked up the package, I could hear some rattle. Well, one handle was broken. So 3 out of 4 ain’t bad.
