The color is exactly as pictured. The holder can't fit everything without it feeling tight but that's OK. They hold up pretty well. A few of them the wood split down the middle but it's not the end of the world. They don't get stained when working with tomato sauce or anything like that that usually stains other surfaces. It was worth the money spent.

I gave it 4 stars because of the flimsy, plastic cup that holds the utensils, The utensils are actually nice and sturdy! But the cup holder is terrible! I will just purchase a stone utensil holder and toss this one out. Other than that, I love how the utensils look on my counter top.

They where actually what I expected very good quality, and beautiful looking. I'll be glad to display in my kitchen when I get a new place to.

Utensils are great but the container is very small. I ended up putting them in my original container.
