Small footprint, powerful punch
I contemplated between this and another popular mini rice cooker.I’m glad I went with this one instead of the other.1. Appearance: It’s Asian, which means it’s kinda cutesy. But beyond its playful design, it works incredibly well. The only downside is that there is no handle to carry the device, but the two small grooves on the side are enough.2. Function: This thing gets used everyday, making a half cup of rice (1 cup cooked) for a single person is just enough for solo meals. If you have guests, it can took 3-4 cups easily, before needing to whip out a bigger cooker. All told, it takes about 20-30 minutes to cook a half cup of white rice. Using it is very simple, simply select your option, then cook. I have yet to try the other options, such as steam and soup.3. Cleaning: I previously owned the other small cooker on the market and hated that the silicone seal on the bottom of the lid isn’t removable. This one features a few pieces that are easily removable for cleaning, which is needed to prevent starch buildup.4. Overall, great value for the money, perfect for a single or two-person household. If you cook for more, you may want to look at a larger capacity cooker.

This is GREAT if you're busy and love to make rice, but don't want to watch the stove!
Oh I love this! From oatmeal to rice! Haven't tried the cake or soup settings, but in the future I will! Use the quick rice function,it's 30 minutes exactly! Fast! Just wash your rice press the button, and do your other dishes etc, and it's ready when you're ready to eat! Cleans easy, stays warm up to 5 hours if you're cooking ahead, makes 4 cups of cooked rice, perfect every time! I bought the white, as it matches my other appliances, but I'm sure they'll do as well with the black!

Small but mighty
I received this rice cooker two days ago and have cooked brown rice twice in it with perfect results both times. It is the perfect size for me as I had a larger one but always seemed to make the same smaller amount of rice. I am very pleased with this item so far even though I have only used it for rice. If it can make delicious rice I think everything I cook in it will be good too. I feel it a good value also. One of the things I like most about it is the fact that I can actually read the measurements inside the cooking pot because a lot of manufacturers just use raised letters that are the same shade but Comfee actually made them a contrasting color which stands out clearly and is easy to read. The cooking pot itself has one of the better nonstick surfaces I have encountered and is very easy to clean. It is also nice that there isn’t a condensation cup to worry about. They put a lot of thought into this product and made a great one. I would recommend Comfee products to anyone looking for quality and value in a rice cooker.

So cute, wife says it needs a name
Upon inspection, box & contents were dry, undamaged, perfectOverall, the design is clean, compact, functional. Small footprint, sort cord, lightweightInner pot/cooking vessel more solid & hefty than bottom-end Zoshirushi, non-stick surface umarredWater level is marked inside pot w/contrasting ink (pot is black), not stamped into the metal - easy to readRice cup & paddle were covered w/ an invisible film, washed them/lid/pot thoroughlyOperation is straightforward: left ‘eye’ sets a start-delay timer, right ‘eye’ cycles through 6 options: Quick Rice, Brown Rice, Oatmeal, Soup, Cake, Stew. When selected, the options flash. Tap start to beginCurrently cooking a cup of Calrose via Quick Rice to serve with chili.Rice came out perfect - not ‘perfect for rice’, but perfect. Completely cooked, no extra water, firm, independent grains w/ just enough sticky to make eating easy. I make good chili, but this rice elevates itI selected this cooker based on price, capacity, simplicity, footprint,, and because I have an electric kettle from the same company, Comfee, that I think well of. As of now, I’m quite happy with/ the choice & looking forward to rice playing a bigger role in our diet…we may never eat long-grain rice againMust include the one bothersome thing: there’s an inner lid that seals the cooking vessel, which is attached to the inside of the hinged lid for the unit itself. It must be removed & replaced for cleaning, and that hinge is is going to get pulling, pushing & twisting unless I’m very careful. Depending on the hinge (& the care I take), this could be the ruin of this machine.

Perfect for 1 to 8 servings of rice!
I have owned rice cookers for years, but every other I have owned would not allow me to make a single portion. This one does! The minimum amount is a perfect single portion! No more wasting rice or eating rice hours later. I can make a serving for each meal fresh…. Oh and it cooks rice perfectly, is easy to clean and seems very well made.

Great Rice for Two
Only use it for sticky rice, mostly Botan Ami rice. Works great. cooking time is about 30 minutes. Cleans up easily. Rice is perfect every time.

Great cooker - just don't believe the timer
I've used this twice now to cook brown rice. Cooking brown rice on the stove has always been a frustrating experience for me because I could never figure out how much extra water to add to compensate for the steam that escaped while cooking. I've also burnt my share as well. So when I found a rice cooker that was small enough for just the two of us and could handle brown rice, I jumped on it. This cooker is easy to use and clean and the rice comes out great. Nice looking too IMO. There IS one quirk to be aware of though. The manual notes the fact that the cooking time will vary depending on how much rice is being cooked. But there is no way to program the unit to indicate that amount. So no matter how much rice is in there, when you hit start it always sets the timer to 1:20 (for brown rice anyway) and counts down from there. When it hits the 15-minute mark, it stays there until it determines that there actually are just 15 minutes left to finish cooking. It can sit there for as long as 20 minutes before it starts counting down again. So no matter what the timer says, from now on I'm figuring two hours to cook rice. Not a problem once you know.
