Bought two, one for my husband and another for me to use on our boundary waters trips. We’ve had these for well over a year now. They are very sturdy, my only problem was that the top bar on one of the chairs bent for some reason and now the chair droops enough for me to feel the under bar on my bottom when I’m sitting, not enough to not use the chair, but enough to bug me as I’m sitting. I am not a big person, my husband’s chair never did this and he is larger than me.Overall, besides the bar on my bottom, this chair is the most comfortable camping chair I’ve ever owned and it is extremely compact. Highly suggest to anyone so long as you keep an eye on the bars bending.

I'm an avid glamper, spending more than 50 days a year sleeping and hanging out in a tent, often just as the woods at home but also at various campsites in the Northeast. I think I enjoy setting up camp as much as I enjoy camping.This year I decided to upgrade my gear and I've searched for years for a chair that is packable for car camping, comfortable and HIGH enough off the ground that I can eat at a camp table. They make most large tables for prep, not for eating at. This one is finally high enough that I don't feel like a 5 year old at the Thanksgiving table. And it's high enough and stable enough that visitors to my campsite that are larger or have bad knees can push themselves up easily. I also have an issue with chairs that lean back so far, they seem to want to me take a nap. And many seats are slanted back and sunken at the back of the chair. The Big Six leans slightly back and has a horizontal seat that makes it comfy to read or tend to a campfire without almost getting out of the chair.But I'll admit, the selling point was the wood "cookies" (slices) on the chair. I am a woodworker and work at a forestry college so I really like the design. I think they stopped making this design but have some nice trout designs and basic colors. I just ordered the Soul Kitchen table to add to my themed summer tent at home. I live in a tiny house and it becomes my summer office and sleeping quarters during the hot weather to expand my space. Can't go wrong with Big Agnes!

This is a great camping chair. It’s a bit pricey so keep an eye out for deals and discounts. Packs up small and has a nice carrying case. The chair went assembled is sturdy and well built.

BA makes a quality product and this is no exception. Packs down small and fits in its own sack. Lightweight and comfortable, just watch out if its windy out!

After having a cheap chair that I broke after a few times out, I decided to splurge on this one with hopes it wouldn't break as easily. This chair is so comfy and well built. Needed to save space for a month long road trip and standard camping chairs just take up too much space. This one packs down to a great size and fits perfectly in my roof top box or inside my car platform.

I bought this chair because it 'sits you 20" off the ground' This is a blatant misrepresentation, I measured my seat to be 13" from the ground. It was difficult to get out of because it is so low, so, yes, "you'll want to grab two drinks before you sit" unless you enjoy getting in and out of uncomfortably low chairs. I will put up with a lightweight chair that packs small, but not a low chair. I can get more comfortable chairs from Walmart for a lot less money. This garbage is going to be returned.

Been using this chair daily for 2 months, as im living in a tent this summer. New, it was a little stiff, but it is now conforming quite well. The aircraft aluminum flexes a bit which was disconcerting at first, but I've become comfortable and confident in it. I bought it as I needed a small comfortable chair to play guitar in and it works decent enough. It supports me at 220 lbs just fine. Yes, wind can take it away. But I sling a water bottle in the carry sack below the seat and it helps quite a bit. I guess it was expensive, but it certainly seems quality built.
