OEM look and feel for a third to cost.
Recently installed this item on a 16 Ford Explorer. It fit the vehicle well. All the fastener receiving slots were properly spaced so I didn’t have to wrestle with it too much to get it into position. Looks pretty much OEM from the outside. I did use some automotive trim foam tape to seal it to the windshield which really gave it a nice finished look - like the OEM part. Would’ve gave it five stars if it came with that tape.

Easy to install
Perfect fit, and super easy to install. The strength and durability of the plastic is really good. Came perfectly packaged and gave the explorer a brand new look.

Poor manufacturing quality
Poor manufacturing quality. Alignment of the holes was off by about 1/4 in. Unfortunately I only found out after the part was mostly installed and the shipping box had already been recycled, otherwise I would have returned it. Also, it did not come with the necessary push-clips, which I had to acquire from my local auto parts store.

Disappointed
Bought for 2018 Ford Explorer Platinum. Item arrived wrinkled on each end. One clip will not clip into place on the passenger side. (Professionally installed.) Petroleum/plastic smell comes in through HVAC system. Too soon to tell if it fixed the buzzing sound from the original cover that this one replaced. Shipped promptly.
