Worked for door latch
My husband used these to keep a door in place since we only needed one to be open most of the time. These attached to the door vertically at the top and bottom going into the floor and door frame. We’ve had them for several months now and work great.

Sturdy bolt latch. Easy install.
Very heavy duty used this bolt latch on a back door that goes to pool. This means the grandchild will not be able to get out without one of us. Installed about 3 inches from top of door so we have piece of mind now.
