Get the job done clean and easy
I bought 50 feet 3/8 inch unit exactly 2 years ago. Among all other size choices this is the only one owned and sold by Amazon, one of the two reasons I picked this option as Amazon offered me Amazon Monthly Payment as one of the many installments payment options. There is a simple 0 cost with Amazon Monthly Payment, a kind of no brainer. A big reason for me to give a five star is its actual test today. My house lot is plat. The sewage pipe coming out of the house into the septic tank does not have much slope so it becomes a common section to get clogged over time. I used to use a hand drill driven stationary drain cleaner and it did get the job done but in a very messy way. I had to use hands holding the cable to guide it and retract it manually. The cable got twisted easily. As a home owner I became a seasoned drain cleaner as I had to unclog the pipe quite regularly. I bought this machine in a hope to make the job easier. This morning I heard bubbling noise in my up stair toilet, a clear sign of trapped air in the sewage line. I put this machine in use. Without instruction manual (being sitting there for two years) I was able to figure out the operation by coming back to the Amazon page watching product videos. The result was amazingly easy and clean. I had my glovers on but I didn't have to touch the cable at all. The machine worked its way into the clogged pipe slowly and surely, unclogging the pipe in a matter of minutes. Rewinding the cable was easy without any touches to the cable. The job site is back to clean state. The handle on the front serves as a convenient clutch to change between forward and backward without stopping the motor. In terms of power and size, this machine is adequate to my single house with a 4 inch PVC pipe about 50 feet long. I am not aware of any difficulty moving it due to weight as it has two wheels with a pushing handle, easy to move around. As a home owner I am very happy with this machine.

Buyer beware!!, don't buy any vevor products!!
I would give 0 stars if possible. After 1st use the cable kinked going back into the drum (note unit is only 6 months old and used one time, and yes I have used power snakes before, I am a professional remodeler but have only used this for my home personal use). Contacted customer support, which you can only do by email, the phone number listed does not work (disconnected or no ring just beeps). Unit is only 6 months old. After 3 weeks of waiting for a response contacted on 1/23/25 (still in limbo, once a week I get the same response saying they are working on a solution) and now was told today 2/2/25 it's a holiday so I need to wait longer for someone to figure it out (it's simple, just send me a new cable under warranty, (by the way the first small cutter tip I used also broke in the 4 inch drain on first use but at this point I doubt I'll get that replaced either). I suggest never buy from vevor, stay with a name brand product like Ridgid, harbor freight or an American company that cares about it's customers and will honor their warranty and also has a phone number that works. They don't respond to warranty issues and drag out the process. I had to purchase a new cable so I could use the machine on another drain clog at my home (more money spent). Had I known in advance I would have spent more up front and bought a quality name brand unit. My suggestion is to stay away from ALL vevor products unless you want to waste money and have headaches if and when the product fails. Here is the latest response I got today 2/2/25.... Dear customer, Thanks for your waiting. We are sorry for this inconvenience. As it is Spring Festival, the technicians are on holiday We will press him to provide a solution as soon as possible If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. Best regards, Amy Customer support

Good Value for the price
Ok.This machine is not for everyone. Other machines like it cost twice as much. The instructions are lacking, as well as accurate explanation of the operation of the machine, so if you buy it as I did you are going to get that information elsewhere. Is the machine precision made? No.Does it wobble, yes.Does that affect the function of what the machine needs to do?No. Do your home work, Familiarize yourself with safe operation, learn how the controls work in an open space, feed the cable in and out.Mark the machine cable in and out control handle yourself ( no markings in casting).Never switch the motor into reverse from forward.Reverse motor is only meant to be used with the foot switch for when you bind up the cable( and eventually it will happen).Cable in and out is always done with the motor in forward by using the lever to switch between forward and reverse ( a gear in the lever assembly changes the cable feed direction from forward to reverse with the handle with the motor always in forward motion.) One really important thing you will find nowhere but here is this-The drum with the cable revolves at about 400 rpm ( the motor 1800 ) so that means the cable travels out 7 feet per minute you hold down that foot switch. If you have a blockage at 21 feet it will take 3 minutes for it to reach it before actually feeling any resistance, once you do, you may have to shift into neutral for the cable to cut and relax, engage it in forward a bit more, and so on. I will post more as I use it. But for now, for what’s in the maket for the price, this was the best value- stay tuned. (You can always put the machine in neutral and manually pull the cable into your pipe, but you won’t have a clue how far you are into your pipe. With the 3 minute feed in I knew I was about 21 feet into my pipe.) 7-13-24 added 2 pictures - had to get rid of RIV NUTS,added 4 5/16” bolts so cable would stop binding between RIVNUT and drum.Added guide plate to keep cable down, and stop cable from creeping and binding underneath.

Great product and did the trick
We have a 100 yr old house and have had problems with our basement laundry room floor drain in our laundry room over the many years we've had the house. The laundry room floor drain connects directly to the main sewer line. Over the years, we've had to run a snake through the line on average of 2X per year when it starts to run slow. This last time it backed up, we used a 25ft power auger on it and it barely cleaned the line. Decided to purchase this one with the 75ft cable after watching some YouTube reviews. Easy assembly but very heavy unit. Ran all 75ft through the line a couple of time and it cleared the line lickety split. Drain now runs and works like new. Cost was well worth it and is saved me from having to hire a plumber. Paid for itself. I'm sure that I'll have to use it again somewhere down the road. So from here on out, it's just a simple matter of running it through the line. Of note, I did check out a similar unit at harbor Freight that was over $100.00 more than this one. This unit looks to be a little bit heavier built than the one at Harbor Freight and $100.00 less. If you have an old house like we do and periodically need to clear a line, I highly reccommend you purchase this.

Warning! Missing items!
I really dont like to give bad reviews but this came with missing wheels, Axel, hardware and angers. I bought this item because I seen positive reviews and I really need a 50' drane cleaner. I contacted Amazon and the refund me 30% of the cost and ill just have to go buy the missing items. Im not sure if it was the packaging from VEVOR or Amazon. All I know is the box looked fine but when I open the box the foam the holds the idem was severely damaged. I did test the item and it operates as expected. Now all I have to get the missing items and it should work fine. If you are interested in this item, I would warn you, you could get the item with the same condition. I have attached pictures and yes the foam it in the same state when I opened the box. Update: after buying the missing parts, the cleaner worked as intended. I seen reviews on how this kinks up but I just went slow and when I had resistance I place in neutral until resistance stopped. This worked and now my drain that has been clogged forever is clear.

Awesome machine.
Anyone giving this a bad review, unless the product is damaged don’t know what they’re doing and should stay away from machinery. This thing is a badass and Roto Rooter charges $700 per visit. It’s already paid for itself.
