I wanted a multi-purpose head torch for running, cycling, camping, reading and any tasks when I need my hands to be free, and this fits the bill.There are two different strength settings on the white beam plus a flashing option. This strongest beam provides decent light for running, walking or even cycling in the dark; the less strong beam is great for reading; and the flashing option if you want to be seen. Being able to turn on and off the strongest beam by waving your hand in front of it is a very cool feature.There is also a red light which I've worn on the back of my cycling helmet in addition to my regular rear bicycle light.

I purchased head torch for nigh town running. It is bright and light,stays attached well. A good unexpected feature is as the battery starts to run down ,the light gets dimmer.Unlike other lights that just turn off.It has charging status, the hand wave turn on off works really well saving fumbling around for the on off switch.Very good value. well made

All the functions to this are really good . The light it gives is great and the battery has plenty of life in it .The photo doesnt do it justice tbf , It seems way brighter IRL.One thing I was unsure about (Reason for 4 stars) was how water proof it is just because the casing opens with no seel . I decided to glue the case so its permanantly closed.

This is a great little torch. It holds its charge for ages and the light is really bright. I also like the hands free function allowing you to quickly and easily turn the torch on and off with the wave of your hand. Brilliant! I would highly recommend this item.

I work on most high speed roads and motorways throughout the U.K so I wanted to be more vizable for my safety. This head torch is amazing! I am very impressed, I took a before and after photo of the head torch shinning on my colleague and I could see him alot better and he stood out more. I had it on full brightness for a good few hours and it doesn't show signs of needed to be charged yetI would defiantly recommend

comes with some charge but would recommend charging it before use . the sensor part of the light is really good for running as you wave in front and it will either go on or off . but be warned if running in a group people passing in front could turn it off. otherwise it is a really bright light and can be angled down to highlight the path , plus no more batteries

I run a lot in the evening in the UK in winter months and this light is perfect and bright. Down a dark country lane, it lights the road up ahead brilliantly. Decent price and the light lasts a long without having to charge all the time.

I was initially thrilled with this torch. i like the idea of not having to replace batteries. however, after using it on my last ultra during the night stage, it ran out of power after 7hours. i did have it on on full light at times but generally on low. luckily, i did not rely solely on this and took my batterie powered headtorch just in case. next time i will use the low setting only.
