I received the slam ball yesterday and demonstrated a “slam” for my husband. I knew immediately that I would be returning the ball because the surface texture is very rough and irritated my hands. This may not be a problem for some but for me it was a no go. Otherwise, the slam itself was great!😄

Got the 10lb ball. It works. The grip is a little rough. It is what it is for a ball partially filled with sand.

Really great quality slam-style medicine ball. Thick rubber, and the textured grips help when your hands are sweaty. It’s a deadweight style, meaning it hits the ground and stays there; it doesn’t bounce back up. Extremely satisfying to slam this thing down and release pent-up frustration. Plus you get a full-body workout. I’m a petite gal and got the 10-lb ball. It’s perfect. An additional bonus is that this ball does NOT scratch up the hardwood-style laminate floor in my home gym.
