Great product for the price. Drilled 630 holes in 4-1/2", 1/4" wall fence posts, using ten of these bits. So an average of 63holes per bit, with one bit lasting 105holes! Used a jig, no pilot bit. Drilled at different angles between 0 and 15 degrees. Mag drill at 850rpm, 61mm hole saw, anchor lube solution for cooling and moly paste inside the bit for reduced chance of the slug getting jammed. Three-sided shanks were breaking off, ended up turning pilot bit bushings to 5/8" diameter to use in chuck. Work piece clamping is most important to prevent bit damage.

Used this on A514-B T1 Steel plate to drill six holes. I used cooling oil with slow speed and the drill went through the holes reasonably fast. I don’t see any discernible wear on the teeth, so it’ll be good for more holes.

The build on these is pretty nice but the pilot bit didn't match the quality of the hole saw. I hand drilled through 5mm stainless plate. I started with a small drill bit to lessen the chance of walking out of place but switched to the included bit who's tip kinda disappeared on me and wasn't making it through the plate. So I drilled a bigger pilot hole with another drill bit and things went smoothly when I switched back to this tool. Once the hole saw engaged it cut very nicely and I got a great clean result. They include 2 pilot bits so I'm not too bothered. It looks like I missed a discount but for $15 for the 60mm saw I think it did great.

Great quality. I cut many holes in 18ga sheet metal, freehand with a drill, without issue. Keep it lubricated. Great product for the price.

So let's talk about holes. I haven't had much experience with hole saws in the past, so I was understandingly apprehensive when looking for something to bore a 90 mm hole through the exterior wall of my house to install a Mini Split air conditioner. The preconception with tools is typically the cheaper they are, the lower the quality. I felt like these saws were mid-range as far as price was concerned, but I worried a bit after reading other reviews. Even so, I gave it shot and figured the price was low enough to take the risk. I was blown away. Between this and the other two items, a diamond grit coring saw and a corresponding arbor adapter, I was able to, albeit slowly, cut through 1/4 inch plaster, 1/4 inch wood lath, 1/2 inch wood (with a nail on the cut line), and 1/4 inch exterior stucco with embedded wire reinforcement with no loss of grit or tooth. This saw also handles sheetrock without a problem. *Important note: other reviews had mentioned teeth breaking off too soon. I am happy to report that I didn't lose any teeth from this saw, even in spite of hitting a nail that was embedded in the wood on my saw line. If you take it slow, you should be fine.* I do want to make a few things clear: I do not recommend the grit saw for wood/sheetrock/ other soft materials due to the packing and heating issues it may cause with the grit. It did handle a little wood without much trouble and knocked out the plaster (which is more like concrete) and stucco with wire with relative ease. This carbide tipped saw is a better choice for soft materials. But, most importantly, you HAVE to take it slow. Do not force the saw to go faster than it is will to on its own and make sure you have a stable hold on the drill because it kicks HARD when it catches in the material, but it will get the job done. I'm looking forward to using these again in the future for my second Mini Split installation. Blade sharpness: Absolutely garbage material. Claims to be able to cut through stainless steel but decided to destroy itself on a piece of 1/8" stainless. Bit snapped off in the pilot hole and the teeth on the wheel went every direction but in. Durability: None whatsoever. Trash bit. Blade quality: Bad.
