Be careful: if you order a brush (in my case, stainless steel; perhaps newer versions will work better), it's most likely not going to charge. They stayed in warehouses for a long time, and the battery drained to zero, below the threshold. When you plug in the charger, the indicator will flash purple and it won't charge. As far as I understand, this is a common problem, and people on Reddit have already figured out how to fix it (I don't know how long this brush will last, but this method works. I'll include full instructions below just in case you get a defective product. A good idea would be for Amazon to remove older versions from sale or sell them with a mark and a discount. If any problems arise in the future, I'll update my review, but after this fix, everything has been working for about one day so far :) The brush itself is very nice, the build quality is good and it's powerful, but there's no pressure sensor. Solution: “ This issue seems to be caused by the power socket delivering either too much or not enough electricity. When this happens, the toothbrush battery fails to initialize properly and goes crazy, which makes it look like it is charging when it actually is not. Once the battery is kickstarted using the method below, this power issue is no longer a problem and the toothbrush will charge normally afterward. Good luck. Instructions: Plug the adapter into the wall socket. Attach the magnetic charger to the toothbrush. Start repeatedly pressing the power button. While pressing the power button, continuously remove and reconnect the magnetic charger to the toothbrush. After trying and trying, the toothbrush will turn on. This means the battery has received a small charge, but you are not done yet. See the toothbrush turning on as a sign that you are doing it correctly. Do not try to turn it off, as it will turn off automatically. From this step onward, stop trying to turn it on. Keep unplugging and reconnecting the charger to the toothbrush until the green light flashes continuously instead of turning purple. Once the green light stays on, let the toothbrush charge normally for a few hours to be sure. Open the app, connect the toothbrush via Bluetooth, then reset and calibrate it to correct the brush head orientation if needed. It is a pain to do and can take a good 30 minutes, but if you stay patient, it works.
