I was wrong with this with my first review and am now editing. The little "toys" in their packages are super cute and we love them. It just started off not the best with the unopenable, branded surprise ball. The other ones are fantastic.Old review:I think we must be the only ones who found it mildly disappointing but my kiddo says "It's okay," as in "don't worry, mom, I like it." I should have continued the tradition of getting a LEGO Advent Calendar which is magical for the holidays and you get to put things together. I think maybe we're just not the right niche. Also, adding any sort of holiday cheer with the packaging, etc., is really nice and I miss that. My fault. If your kid likes toys that resemble packaging that you can't open, then they might like it a lot. It might be nice for pretend play.

I got this as a gift for my mother-in-law. It’s honestly bigger than I expected. The box looks great and came undamaged. This is a great gift for people of all ages who collect mini brands. I can’t wait to see her open all of them knowing that there’s 24 different items that she likely doesn’t have. If you want a gift with lots of variety this is the way to go. Watching her open them will be fun!

This is not a Disney mini brands advent calendar, though they do have one of those. I see a lot of people disappointed about that, so first, know what you're buying. There were a lot of throwback Nickelodeon brand toys in mine, which is what caught my attention in the ad. I was hyped to receive so many minis from that era. I got Hey Arnold, SpongeBob, Ren and Stimpy, Rugrats, Ahhh! Real Monsters, TMNT and Slime! I couldn't be happier. I did get a Rubik's cube twice, but at least one was a different style, though they should make more effort to avoid repeats, as I do see some complaints about that. They also had two of the mini brands balls, and I thought it was a bit much to have two of your own items in there, like an ad, as I already bought your stuff, but I'm overall very happy. The Crayola boxes were also really fun.I used a keyring box cutter to cut the perforations and had no trouble opening the little windows. The box is bad at displaying the items, but I plan on making magnets out of most of these things. I enjoyed my experience overall and would buy another advent calendar from them next year. You might say I'm as happy as a kid who got slimed on Double Dare.

I bought 2 of these calendars this year and sadly, they had the exact same items for each day so the kids had to race to open theirs to see the item first, so like both calendars for day 1 had a tiny glue, day 2 both had a marvel mask....and so on. I wish they all were different for each day, like switch them up or something so if you are buying multiple calendars, each one for day 1 is different than the others.
