Amazing job pedestal fan
This was a recommendation from a friend who was in the process of purchasing a second one for he’s home. I can happily say this was a good recommendation. The quality of this far surpasses anything you will pick up at a budget price. It’s very well built and is sturdy. It has a reassuring weight which means it stands firm. The base is nicely weighted adding to the stability. I love the fact that as stated in the name it is very quite, even at full speed it is allot quieter than the competition. Sleep mode is brilliant which produces a gentle breeze, coupled with a timer and remote you have full control from anywhere within the room. It looks great and is well put together. There is only one craft I’ve that I have experienced that does let it down slightly and that is a slight rattle from the buttons located on the fan itself. At high speeds this is a little annoying, however I have found that this is an intermittent issue and is easily fixed by passing your hands over the buttons to stop the rattle. Not enough of an issue for me to want to part with such a great fan.

Silent, effective and needs to be assembled at home
It needs to be assembled at home, I am disabled so paid an electricuan who managed it easily. I am so thrilled with it. I haven't needed to have if on more than the second setting, there are 5, & it is silent! The remioe control is a bonus & very clear markings make it simple. I nearly sent it back because I knew I couldn't assemble it myself. I'm so glad I kept it. Value for money: #

brilliant fan and so quiet !!!!
my last 15 yr old honeywell fan finally died so i decided to replace it with this new model. Its a brilliant piece of kit , the only thing i would suggest is googling how to assemble it as the instructions supplied are a bit vague...Once assembled i was really taken aback at how quiet this fan is even on high...i think the fan is high enough without raising it to suit most situations.... all in all a really well made product at an affordable price. VERY VERY HIGHLY RECCOMENDED !!!

Great value for money
I brought a £350 Dyson fan which I sent back as it simply wasn’t powerful enough. I replaced it with the Honeywell which is not as sleek and modern looking as the Dyson but does a far superior job. In fact, the Honeywell throws out more air on its lowest setting than the Dyson did on its highest and is amazingly quiet in the process. This is certainly the best fan I have ever owned. Its not the cheepest you can buy but with its remote control, ease of use, power and quietness is great value for money. One word of caution and the reason I didnt give it 5 stars. As mentioned by someone else, in its box the rear grill turned itself slightly inside out. Therefore once assembled the fan would touch the front grill and not rotate. I very nearly returned it as a result and it was only reading that someone else experienced the same problem and found the solution that I got it working. Honeywell really need to address this problem in its packaging. I am sure that a lot get returned as they are not working but in fact with a slight adjustment they would have been fine. I cannot yet say how the fan will preform long term and if it will develop any squeaks or creeks but so far I am very impressed.

Well built but a little on the heavy side
I've owned a Honeywell HS-216E since 2011 and it's performed well over the years, being on almost 24/7 during hot periods. Recently the fan hasn't been spinning as fast as it used to. I put this down to normal wear and tear on the motor. So Honeywell was my first choice for a replacement and this new digitally controlled HSF600WE. First impressions are that it's really well-built, although much heavier than the HS-216E. This is only an issue if you intend to keep moving it around. It has 5 speed settings as opposed to 3, which is great and it performs extremely quietly, almost silent on the slower settings 1-3. The remote control is simple yet effective. I've not used the timer function yet so can't comment on that, but it's nice to have that feature should I ever need it. Time will tell if it performs and lasts as well as my previous pedestal fan, but right now it's a superb piece of kit.

Honeywell HSF600WE Advanced Quietset Oscillating Stand Fan with Noise Reduction Technology
Nominally an OK fan in terms of noise levels and flow, but I had to return mine as the panel stopped working after a few days and the remote would turn it on but it would turn itself off again after a few hours. Amazon returns were good here. A couple of other gripes: it also struggled to remain at full height extension - the mechanism for locking the stand in place isn't very good and it kept sliding down. This one also had an annoying squeak when oscillating at one side. The design of holder for the remote makes it almost impossible to get the remote back out once it is clipped in. The panel (when it was working) never fully turns off which is rubbish for use in a bedroom if you get disturbed by light easily like me. I replaced with a slightly more expensive EcoAir Zephyr which seems good so far, but not quite as stable perhaps.

Super quiet, super powerful and efficient...
Honeywell makes some of the best fans and I have got three at home, they last forever, are powerful, very quiet, have a very good remote .... and they are very efficient (contrary to Dyson fans which are pretty and geeky but have dreadful power efficiency). Highly recommended.

Very Poor Quality fan especially for the price - AVOID
I bought this is in July 2018. It's still working but very poor design and quality issues - Not easy to assemble especially guard assembly. One guard clamp will not tighten, due to faulty design and/or manufacture error. - Manual tilt function defective. After the angle is set, the fan slowly drops ie cannot hold its position - Clicking sound (after 1 week use) when the fan is in rotate mode - Very bad rattle (after 1 year use) coming from combination of shaft and fan guard In summary, although it does have some good features (rotation, fan speed, timer) there is extreme noise (impossible to sleep) and it is very poor quality. Would not recommend especially at that price, and am considering junking it. I had much higher quality/performance expectations from a company such as Honeywell I did not try and return it as my wife had disposed of the box after 2 weeks and some of the issues appeared in the 2nd year

we have been in this house 22 years, and there was already a Honey well fan here, probably 6 or more years old. that's at least 28 years. it has 3 speeds. buying this new one, we new that it would be a good product. it has five speeds, and is remote controlled. but i agree with the wife that although it is quiet, it is not as powerful as the old one with 3 speeds. BUT it does look nice. it should out last us by 12-15 years.
