Update: I edited this review to 5 stars from 3 because the customer service was above and beyond. I never asked for a refund, but they refunded me for the entire set even though I only had a problem with one set of seeds. They followed up to make sure I got the refund. Very attentive and helpful customer service. The other seeds are all growing beautifully, so based on my experience with this company, I will buy seed pod sets from them again when I need them. As usual, the basil grew immediately, but the cilantro won't do a thing. I've read some info about fertilizer Ph and lighting and temperature requirements for cilantro, but they aren't helpful since there is no way to control the water temp in this hydroponic home gardens. And the fertilizer included does not have any info about Ph so who knows whether it's compatible with the cilantro? And why does the kit include seeds that won't grow in the same conditions as other seeds if the purpose of the kit is to have an herb garden with a variety of herbs? A friend of mine happens to have bought this same kit and her cilantro won't grow either. Really disappointed since the cilantro was one of the herbs I most wanted to grow.

Updating review from 2 stars to 4 stars. Vendor stood behind their product and refunded my purchase. Would definitely give them another chance. The catnip plant has been tossed, but the seeds that were correct are growing great. Thank you for my refund. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Supposed to get parsley as one of the seed packs, planted it…turns out it’s catnip. Not parsley! The basil, oregano, thyme, and dill were all fine and growing nicely, but my parsley was not parsley. I did not plant the mint or cilantro, so don’t know about those, but I do know that the parsley seeds were NOT parsley seeds. And the catnip is not mint. I didn’t plant the mint seeds that came with it. Looks similar to mint, but definitely doesn’t smell like mint. Looked it up and learned that it’s catnip. Too bad I don’t have a cat. Too late to return as I already planted them, and outside of 30 day window by 2 days anyhow. And I don’t have a cat, so catnip is useless. How does catnip seeds get labeled parsley anyhow?? Would like a replacement for those with the soil pod, etc. Hopefully vendor will see this. Would have been 5 stars if not for the catnip. The process is a little tedious, but the seeds did grow nicely.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I've had an Aerogarden system for a few years and love it. When Aerogarden went out of business I purchased these seed packs hoping they would grow full beautiful herb pj it's like the Aerogarden seeds had done. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Inspire of numerous attempts, I could not get the cilantro deeds to germinate and grow.ball the other herbs grew but the plants are spindly and sparse and the leaves are tiny. Hardly worth using in cooking. Also something that was packaged as a thyme does look like any thyme plant I have ever seen. Even my plant identifier app isn't sure what it is.

These do not grow anything. I followed the instructions to the letter and nothing grew in weeks. I tried to give it a second go with a second round of seeds and still nothing, nothing grew after weeks of waiting. Unfortunately due to me giving them a second go and waiting weeks both times I cannot return this product. Waste of money. Waste of time. It does not function as described. I wish I could have never ordered these. And I ordered two boxes of seeds from these guys. Both failed. Herbs and vegetables both failed. The basil seeds grew into weeds!!!! Even worse the tomato’s grew and after 5 weeks did not produce a single tomato!!!! Do not buy. Do not give them a chance. They will not grow. They will not refund.

The pod and sponges worked fine, but the seeds were all garbage. Not what they advertised, or never even grew. Ie contained lemon basil, very cheap thyme, and useless coriander that never sprouted after multiple attempts. Update: While I can not change my review of the product itself, the seller was very responsive and refunded the product, and said they would work for a solution on their side. So whether or not there are product issues, this is a professional business to buy from!

I am super glad that I bought this- it fits with my Aero garden perfectly, plus- there are more seeds and pods, so I can grow my next plants after transplanting the first batch. I planted my seeds 3 weeks ago and 5/6 of them made it. I bought the herb garden and my basil and dill are doing so well. Would definitely recommend. The only difference between this and the aero garden pods, is that you have to soak the seeds before you plant them.

We’ve tried twice now to get these going. Followed all the instructions. They don’t grow. The pods just get mouldy. Waste of money. Super disappointing because we never had a problem with actual aero garden brand.

These seeds worked exceptionally well in my AeroGarden. All of them sprouted quickly after planting. I soaked the seeds overnight before placing them in the pre-moistened soil, and the process was very straightforward. The quantity provided is generous, making this a great value!

When they grow they work well. Unfortunately only about a third will work.
