Wonderful Book!!
Reviewer : Kaylene - Magic Within The PagesRating : 5 StarsHoly hotcakes, this is one spicy book. You can save me any time Gabriel, any time ....Well Lesley Jones you have delivered another wonderful book, Saviour is going to be one of my favourites along with Carnage and most probably Resolution when I finish reading it.In Saviour we start out by meeting Lauren, a women in her 40’s who’s in an abusive relationship with her husband Jason. It seems that it wasn't always physically abusive but has turned out that way and she is struggling with the fact that she loves him (perhaps not in love with him) and the fact that she has been married to him for over 26 years. She has adult children who have left home and she’s faced day in and day out with this man who treats her with so much disrespect that she has no self confidence left. One day she wakes up and decides it all over and she is going to leave him. She goes out with her girlfriends and lets them know what’s been going on in her life. They’re all shocked as they thought she had a wonderful relationship with Jason. On her night out she meets Gabriel and that’s when things start to heat up. Wow, Gabriel is hot, yes that’s right H.O.T. Definitely my book boyfriend of the moment and any women’s fantasy, especially one who’s older because Gabe is much younger than Lauren and the attraction to each other is instant. Love at first sight especially for Gabe who has never been in a relationship for more than two minutes, he’s a love em and leave em type.I loved this book, I love the way it was written as it had me from the start and once again Lesley Jones I had my nose stuck in my Kindle until well after 2:30 am this morning to finish it. I immediately started reading Resolution the second book in the series. I am very fortunate to have meet Lesley Jones while reviewing her latest book Carnage and I hope to be reading her stories for as long as she is producing them. Fantastic books and I can thoroughly recommend them. Do yourself a favour and read this book.

Couldn't stop reading till the end, then read book two.
Loved this Book. Couldn't put it down. This book is about domestic abuse right off the bat. It's also about LOVE, Kindred spirits. Love at first sight. It's about knowing who your real friends are.It also all happens in Australia so there are some terms in this story that you just have to guess what they refer to. Like Arvo for evening, brekkie for breakfast. This one kind of drove me to distraction "Top him up". In the U.S we say top him off meaning fill his drink to the top. One more "How ya going?" meaning How are ya doing? Just little things like that.Lots of alcohol is consumed in this story. LOTS!The story ends with a doozie of a cliffhanger. When it ended (although it was 1:00AM) I had to jump over to my Kindle Fire and order the next (and last) book.. "Resolution". Finally had to turn out the light at 4:00AM. I just had to stop, it was very hard though.I'm in love with Gabe. He's broken but repairable, the same as Lauren. I get a little frustrated with Lauren's tendency to give up so easy but she does have her reasons, it's all fixable though. The second book picks up where the first lets off. There's also some Gabriel POV (finally) in the second book.I've got to go now and finish reading the second book "Resolution".Get this book. Did I mention that there is Lots, and Lots of erotic, descriptive, sex going on between Gabe and Lauren? Adults only. Tummy warming!!!

Beautiful
This book was the perfect read after my massive book hangover from Carnage 1&2. I think in amongst the 4 books I have absolutely fallen in love with Lesley's writing and she has become one of my go to authors. Saviour is an amazing story and I fell in love with the book straight away and soon was unable to put down the book. Lauren or 'Loz' is an amazingly strong character, who at the start of the book you can immediately relate to and identify with. You feel for her from the off and very quickly she becomes almost your best friend and your routing for her and you want the best for her. Then you are hit with the god that is Gabe... O.M.G!! What an awesome specimen of man. He is everything a woman wanys in a man. He is hot, strong, emotional and a stallion hehe. I love the relationship between Lauren and Gabe, the intensity or their feelings is just amazing and so, so hot. I could go on forever but I would eventually give something away and I really don't want to do that. I will say that this is a book (and its sequel) that I will be recommending all of my friends pick up and read as it is an amazing story and everyone really should read :)

I liked this but...
I got really annoyed the other day when I saw a re-edited version had been recently uploaded, just after I read this (in its older form)! It'd have been great to be notified about this because the editing issues did bug me as I was reading it.However I liked this story and kudos for writing realistic sex scenes and tackling domestic abuse. There are loads of women out there in the same position as Lauren and the way that was tackled was quite good. The only other thing about this book that kind of bothered me was that Lauren's voice at times did sound like that of a teenager who needs to grow up, especially when she threw her wobblers. There is something strangely compelling about Lesley's writing and I know everyone is raving about Carnage - which I might possibly read when it's re-released in its fully edited format.

MY NEW FAVOURITE AUTHOR.....
Lesley Jones you are my new favourite author... I've read carnage 1 & 2 and couldn't wait to read the other books and I am not disappointed.... This book is a eye opener into domestic abuse and what is good about it is there is light at the end of the tunnel & a lot of readers out there will have experienced this & may even be going through it at the moment... Its not always about violence, verbal abuse can be so much worse & this book definitely touches that subject well....If only there are hot men like Gabe's out there to heal the wounds..... Great read.... Enjoy

great book
When I first started reading this book I thought that i wasn't going to like it much and that it was a little shallow and unrealistic, but the more I got into it the more it grew on me and I could not put this book away. Loved the characters ( oh to be loved like that !!!!) and Gabe was just gorgeous. when finished I had to download the 2nd installment called resolution and it was just as good if not better. when it came to the end I felt sad and I knew I was going to miss reading about Gabe and Lauren. please read these books you will love them

Amazing
Loved saviour, loved Lauren, loved gabe. What a refreshing read. Lauren is not your usual skinny minny virginal clingy female lead but a married 45 yr old mother of 2 grown up sons with wobbly bits (join the club) .Meet gabe a 35yr old commitment phone who has a few issues, a teenage daughter and the sexiest brothers apart from Georgia Layton(carnage). It was so good to read something refreshingly different the same stories have been done again and again but Lesley Jones once again gives you something different, something real, something believable.
