Larger size battery
unlike most of the other trains that use an AA size battery I think this one needs a bigger size and then it seems to fit better & should cure the connection problems that some mention.Could be wrong but I think that’s it

Poor battery holder and can stop making a connection.
Top class delivery service. The item itself isn't that great. I've bought other Pla-rail trains for my son and this one is the worst one. It's battery holder is poor. Any bashes and the battery stops making a connection and you have to unclip the cover to straighten the battery up so it works again.

Battery overheats
The product itself looks great and my son loves it. However, when you insert the battery it’s overheats to the point where it’s dangerously hot. If you buy, buy in the knowledge you cannot put a battery in it!!

My 4 y/o boy is a Thomas fanatic and has been asking for Diesel 10 for a while. He is very sturdy and strong, can pull a lot of freight cars with ease! He is also fast which is a plus. He takes a "C" battery which we werent used to but had on hand at home. The directions were not in English on how to insert the battery, but were pretty self explanatory to figure out.

Il mio bimbo di tre anni ha voluto questo trenino che ha visto in un video e quando è arrivato (tempi lunghi ma entro il mese previsto) è stato uno spettacolo vedere il suo faccino felice e i suoi salti di gioia!!!! Devo dire che la scelta del suo quinto trenino thomas and friends è stata ben fatta, Diesel 10 è molto particolare con una buffa faccia da "cattivo".Sembra robusto, molto simile hai vecchi modelli fisher price (migliori e robusti rispetto ai nuovi trackmaster) che ancora resistono dopo centinaia di lanci e cadute di ogni tipo.Unica pecca, al momento,è nella descrizione delle pile ,non tipo AA ma C. Il venditore con cui ho scambiato qualche e-mail è stato cordiale e disponibile. Consigliato.
