Claus Porto Musgo Real Classic Scent Pre Shave Oil (100 ml)

Reading the reviews of others I thought I would try this as a preparation for shaving even though I had reservations it was being over hyped. I stand corrected - the other reviewers were right. It is really good, making the shave easier but also reducing the likelihood of razor burn.

If you use a cut throat razor, this is a must. I use this as a base for the Musgo shaving cream which allows the blade to run smooth.

Works, but a little heavy on the smell

I've tried several pre-shave oils over the years, sometimes feeling that it's all hype and product push. Wet shaving with a double edge or straight razor can dry your skin out though, and discovering this oil has been a real gem. I use this pre and post shave, has a lovely refreshing scent and perfect light consistency. I won't use anything else now and is perfect just after a shave before applying balm.
