This set is awesome. Came with all the things you need to start cake decorating at home. I’m still a beginner and I have to say this set is easy to use. It also came with so a lot of different frosting tips. Used this set to make three cakes so far and it made it a lot easier.

You don't need expensive tools to get started.
Great starter kit. For the price you can't beat it. A ton of pieces and you're able to accomplish a lot with what's provided in the kit. The only thing I wish this cake kit included would be a cake scraper for smoothing cakes. I had to get that separately. Another budget hack is also using a ruler to smooth your cake. Besides that, the piping bags, tips and sculpting tools came in handy. the turntable is a bit wobbly compared to a metal turntable, but, you can still ice a cake just fine. Overall a great starter kit.
